EURUSD Sep 11 H4 setup with both Stoch signal and TDI Green cross signal...

looks like a golden cross when green cross red and cross yellow... also 50-level.

there is risk i.e. this week's swing low support.

Found a nice short setup on EN 4 hour. Taken.
NB: Daily Time Frame in Uptrend with Bearish correction so may manually close this early if I see a reversal on the Daily TF.

you missed the REVERSAL CANDLE.

there is only one REVERSAL CANDLE... i.e. the bullish price bar + bullish HA candle which has the Stochastics (8,3,3) cross up and TDI Green confirms with either a steep slope or green cross red.

my chart below shows the REVERSAL CANDLE, you may have a different H4 candle due to different broker price and server time.. but the setup conditions for a REVERSAL CANDLE are the same.

note what the OP once said about the green cross red and he did not care what the red is doing... in this case the green pointing down and the red pointing up...but what about the yellow MBL?

that D1 Inside Bar breakout was good but the intraday volatility is a challenge.

nevertheless those who place their stop above the Mother Bar of the Inside Bar would have survive... so far.

Trading Psychology Notes:
How am I feeling emotionally? Neutral.
Reasons:
I am aware that no trading plan works 100% of the time.
I kept the trade at 2% risk.
R2 so I don't have to win every trade to be in profit.
Passing on this long entry because it will put my stop at 5% risk.
Looking forward to the next trading opportunity.

I was tempted to sell but decided to wait till after the ECB monetary statement. And it looks like the longer term trend is still UP. It is very difficult to trade with single entry single exit type of trade.

Weekly has a big W1 WRB candle which set the high - low of the sideways market type condition and with 2 weekly inside bars small candles. The high was tested twice on D1 and the low remains the support for this week.

perhaps you should have seen it this way...price did not break the recent high but the tdi was making a HH..it's actually a HD and much better than a RD, my 2 cents

actually that's just my trading style. I don't trade breakouts. This entry was based on the candle closing above the MA and the green line on the TDI > Red > yellow and crossing the 50. Together with this a reversal candle was spotted on the Daily and you have divergence on the 4h.
Win or Loose, I grade this as a A+ trade because I stuck to my trading plan.
