Dollar is dropping, and has been since Monday. So this upshot is more due to the Yen dropping than Dollar strength IMO even though $DXY got good news today. Weekly Yen looks like this...

4Hr chart showing an interesting Inverted head and shoulders pattern. That which has happened will happen again. Looking for this to bounce off of 15.6-4 area, Daily also showing a need to bounce.

Amazing how the reports tend to validate the price action patterns isn't it? Almost like they knew before we did. Especially with Larry Kudlow at the ready to "splain" the less than stellar numbers. He always comes on when things are bad to smooth it over.

i don't believe in chart patterns but I do believe in fundamental/technical analysis to try to make sense when the market will buy "safe haven" assets

chart patterns are what bankrupt people but good analysis and money management won't

That's Ironic. The patterns have changed my trading. Especially since I noticed those far fetched ones where price was way out of range get validate. Some even going against the fundamentals right before they are released. Amen to good analysis and money management, but patterns are part of Technical Analysis from my readings.

Markets are not random or chaotic they move because the Market Makers move them. And they move them in precise ways to cause confusion and mask their true intentions so that the retail traders cannot capitalize on their game.

Algorithmic trading is based upon mathematical functions which is how the Market Makers move the market. Math is the game.

I forget @ indicator. It was labeled under swing indicators and I was testing it. Showed me nothing lol.

In intraday trading according to me we have a start of little uptrand. Break the daily resistence at 106,99 in extencion could reach up to 107,34 (R2).

Now we have a strong up trend unless price cross 106.22 level or for more assurance 105.72 level

I think that there will be a downtrend from current levels. 107.6 could be a top in the near term, unless the tariffs come off or there is good news regarding trade negotiations.
