Hi, I admit it, didn't saw that (exact) drop coming (I consider it a "mini" flash crash) - but I "escaped the market" since I detected it is "not working right"... As I have been repeating... to people that they should learn "when not to trade"... instead of just trade, trade, trader... =(over)trading profits into loses

Have been posting about the downtrend since 22JUN19, posted downtrend LINE since 25JULY... and been consistent since.. I also warned about how some gurus will be locked out of positions (here, among others)... Now you can seen the (naked) kings

It dropped too much I think but hey, maybe it is time for the parity till end of OCT... Otherwise.... return to the "merlins line" and slow decline... Will se within a week..
Can you afford to take that chance?

Currently.. there wasn't for quite some time Will see it in about a week... Pretty much uncertain atm.. either to parity (trend) by 31OCT19... or rebound to "merlins line"... not sure anymore atm tbh... But I will see in about a week... Just made some sample burner overnight btw... for my tp20sl20 thread...

Good stuff here on page 3. But in summary, it was not possible to predict the sharp drop in th E$, but that drop was within the know and understood (by a few) structure of the market. If you were selling that day and/or had long term positions open, you captured the move. Good traders noted the levels hit, post move reaction, etc, and are smiling today.

Had the news moved the E$ sharply higher, that move would also be within the structure of the market up to around 1.1150/60. Until that time, look for sell opportunities (there are a few here who can also buy in the present structure, but it's not recommended). If you had sell positions open that morning, then your stops would have been hit but you'd still be looking for sell opportunities to make your money back (actually, you'd be doubling down on the next sell opportunities).

I'll assume that the OPs question has been answered.

GEFx you made an analysis where you identify two 50 Fibs and HS but you take some BS short trades in 10M.
Everyone see the downtrend (a few? LOL) so any short trade is a fit on this.
I assume the overall answer is "it was not possible to predict the sharp drop in th E$", end of story

That's what I said. It"s not possible to predict, but it's likely a good trader will participate in it. And the trades on the 10M were not BS. If you think that, you dont understand.
