GBPNZD Week 33 Aug 12

First time trying out SwingMan's TMMS Oscillator 2.0 and comparing the visual with RH template#1.

D1 still active and price is developing .... we shall see what happens at the end of today.

Ive got my eye on a lot of the GBP pairs on the H4 charts. They seem to be taking a breather from the recent fall. I dont expect a crossover, but waiting for signs of continuation and I'll be in.

Just a few questions out of curiosity as to how you approach the markets.

Are you waiting for signs by checking H4 every 4 hours, or looking elsewhere for signs?

Do you have some "signs" that they are taking a breather, or is that just a feeling you have? If it is just a feeling, I am curious to know if trading based on feelings is working well for you.

I am running MT4 on a Mac and when I re-start it's not converting the HMA Trend.ex4 to .mq4, could someone please post the HMA Trend,mq4 file for me.

well, there has been a lot of upward strength in the GBP pairs since market opened
Although the D trend movement is still down - HA candle for H4 is up
This may be ONLY a pullback but on D1 I discern 3 Higher Lows.
If GBPNZD, for example, can close above 1,8726 then there's room and possibility.

After a few tries I was able to download the "HMA Trend Professional".
The signals can be compared well with my Double HMA. The advantage of my indicator is that with the ADX filter one can better identify the sideways trends...

Swingman , thanks for updating us on the hma trend indicator , your work is very much appreciated. Robin Hood just updated last night in prior post on his revised template he uses now for trade made simple (r)

Is this the simple completed updated template you use now ? If so can you share for us so we know all is the same with settings and such ? Thanks so much !!

But a single chart gives only a few clues to the puzzle in the story... If you want to get more of the story and more of the puzzle pieces that lead to a successful solution, consult additional charts.

I use the 4H chart and my "feeling" is based on the fact that we've had a sell-run for a few days and now the stochs are on their way up. One 4H bar has closed blue and the HMA indi has also changed colour. (All this on the 4 hour chart). It would be silly to sell right now. i was in a GBPAUD position and closed it (looking at the chart, im glad i did!). Now waiting for another signal to determine which way it goes and will sit until the screen tells me what to do.

I hope that explains things.

Yes, explains very clearly. Perhaps you now can see that you actually made a decision based on a technical analysis rather than on your feelings.
