Our Government, Prez an Congress are crooked, corrupt, religious freeks,
time for a change...I'd say the Dollar will soar with a Demo win in Nov.

Wow... working on a sub in charge of over a billion dollars of military electronics and nuclear reactor. Volunteering to spend weeks underwater and not knowing the difference between day or night and spending months away from friends and family does take a lot out of you. Not forgetting that you do not see any females until you hit a port. Wearing your dauphins on your uniform must give you a great sense of pride. I started out in the US Navy as an AO and while E-3, was selected for Broadened Opportunity for Officer Selection and Training. Choose the US Army for Commissioning. One WestPac Cruise was enough for me.

Actually regardless of the outcome of the election, it's doubtful dollar will soar. Freeks is freaks btw and they are in both parties as well as crooked, corrupt etc etc. All that changes is the group that gets to grab the biggest piece at the moment.

1 year Air Force Baby
17 years Army Brat
6 years Navy enlisted (Sonar Tech)

I've spent the last 27 years regretting leaving the service.

I salute all current and former U.S. military!

CTGuy, I agree 100% to your comments concerning philmcgrew, or anyone who serves on a sub!!

As a member of a special forces unit with the Marine Corps, I spent 3 months on a sub doing what the "powers that be" called a special assignment, "HA!". Needless to say, I gained a true appreciation for those folks serving on those subs!!

And I thought us Marines were nuts!! Try hanging out with Navy Seals for a while!! Great bunch of guys tho'.

A Democrat victory, which is highly questionable, would only ensure that no legislation is passed for the next two years. I don't know how that would be dollar anything.
