I have not given a try to cm since i prefer doing it manually, maybe i will give it a try now. The account that was stopped out was just a demo, since was only trying the method out.

To find stronger / more aggresive trends i add 40 and 60 level to the stochastic i will see if it adds some values. Feedbacks ?

I’ve been following this from start.... can you tell us a bit more how do you enter trades on M5 after signal from H4? Do you only enter when price going in same direction? Do you wait for pullback or something if not? (But that means more time in front charts) or you only enter if price going in the same direction at the time of checking and skip the trade if not? Thx

Hi Mercennary, technically your trades looked correct, I did wonder if you were somewhat late to the party getting in late on the 2 or EP on 3rd candle. If I did look correctly. I look at the currencys and plan for the time of potential candle closes to realize potential setups at first candle close.

The sweet spot is getting in off the first candle close after it has changed colour and closed i.e. the HMA crossed the yellow line with the HMA now a green color with yellow below for buy or above the Red for sell. If you see your EURGBP trade the brown RSI was on its way back to the 50 line which is a clear indication in a shift, change in momentum. So you would have entered as the market is changing from a sell to a buy on the H4. If I'm not mistaken.

Hi, Do you use the genesis M to confirm the trade? I also see you have some arrows as well. Would these be TDI osc cross by any chance. I have found these very helpful if used alongside the stochs and RSI.

Yes I like to see a column of red or blues before taking a trade. It's a confidence thing for me to pull the trigger.

The arrows come from the indicator "HMA arrows + all alerts" as it can just give you a heads up when the HMA changes colour. When I see the alert I check the chart to see how all the other indicators are lining up

Update on the trades I took the past few days:

NZDUSD H4: The first cross signal that occurred at the start of the week turned out fine, my 3 units hit their TPs. 2 days ago there was a continuation signal that I also took, first TP has hit and on it's way to the other TP. This pair helped me recover from the other losses at the start of the week.



EURAUD H4: After an initial loss on a weak signal going short, I took the long cross, hit TP1, BE the other 2 units because of the spike. Would have turned out fine.



GBPJPY H4: Loss after cross.


Finally, here's a trade I took at the last H4 bar on AUDCHF. It's both a cross / continuation setup.


I'll probably end this week in the red, but not by a lot, Monday & Tuesday were really bad for me.

It's simple. After you get a signal on the 4 hr. chart, you drop down to the 5 min. chart and only enter when the 5 min is going in the same direction (based on using the 7 indicators in the same way we do on the 4 hr. chart). You don't wait for a pullback.

And as far as it being more time in front of the screen, you don't have to do my way, you can just enter immediately when you get a signal on the 4 hr. chart. But my way will make you more money overall.

How many trades have the people in this thread been able to get this week, what was your winning percent and risk to reward ?

i just want to share my opinion, not to say you are wrong/right, hope my post can help you and a few others too..

i have been trading live since 2 years ago and have always trade live, demo trade only to test the software functions...lol, it has been a roller coaster ride, oscillating, lowest drops to 80% of my account, made it back to break even in 6 months, but in the red now since Jan 3 black swan event, just a single day, or i can say just a single hour... lol.. didnt destroy my account, but reduced it to 50% due to early manual close as i would rather have a loss 50% than price retest those level and kill my account.. but didnt retest.. lol.. not enough experience.. never again will i FOMO (fear of missing out) in trading opportunities...lol

so i have traded short TF since then as i dont want to be exposed during hours after NY close till JP opens, imho, if there is any red news that is about rate or statement that may give hints about the direction of rate -> run away from any pairs that have its currency as one of them, eg EUR, dont trade EU nor its crosses a trading day before till the next day after the news occured... sometimes the volatility is low 1/2 trading days before that news and sometimes the day before news the currency may rally -> unreliable right... so i would rather trade other currency pairs... next week will be FOMC and BOJ and BOE... oh 1 more, NFEC, especially the one on friday from BLS... lol.. -> so i think you are safe from EA this week

then another one GBP pairs, seldom or rarely i trade this, though i still feel the itch, always wants to click and trade if everything looks good but also i always remember the pain... lol.. in the end i only trade EG as its 20days ADR is only 43.. (i may mislead about ADR and ATR, not enough understanding, anyway EG have the lowest D1 ATR or ADR when compared to other GBP pairs -> any questions? search FF, if not satisfied, ask emmanuel7788-> he is a generous person.. follow emmanuel7788's advice for trading other news

oh avoid trading GBP pairs at the moment like TheSpoof, i'm sure he has his reasons, nobody yet asked him i don't even know UK has a new PM, there isn't such news in my country... lol -> so you are also safe from GJ

imho, for AF, hull ma not yet crossed the 5ema shift 2.. and frankly no cross/continuation setup... it is either one of them, although the criteria are the same.. yes the trade may work now, but maybe may not work most of the time.. forex is random, no one can say for sure.. the OP of this cool thread RobinHood, has already stated his rules... he must have his reasons to say such rules... of course we can have our own personal discretion... we always heard that rules are meant to be broken, frankly not in forex... never ever...lol.. until you are profitable, let say able to double your account, then you can try to tweak it...

frankly just 'Emulate What Works' from RobinHood, n luckily 'Honesty is a very expensive gift. You wont find it in cheap people.WBuffett' emmanuel7788 and 'Emotion - it steals your money.' TheSpoof are here too, helping others, so much treasure to dig in their posts... it is amazing that if i'm not wrong TheSpoof re-read the posts here again and again or maybe just the first post, i forget, he mention somewhere... but it is amazing, the method works for him, he earns from it again and again, yet he still re-read, whereas others want to tweak it somehow or someway, some not reading the whole thread while only just 100 pages... and also shamefully i only read it twice for the first post... lol.. but i try my best to make sure the 7 criteria is fixed.. it is also amazing that emmanuel7788, RobinHood still posts here and there guiding us while actually they can enjoy peaceful life..

i have my own problems too: Fear of Letting a Profit Turn Into a Loss (because there is a variation of SL) and Fear of Not Being Right (because i'm still new to this method, yet to trade enough), luckily this method works and very technical.. as time passes, more trades taken, i believe i can overcome this like TheSpoof did...

ok.. i hope my posts can help someone better choose those currency pairs, although i dont know it may...lol.. anyway today is friday, only 8 hours left, anything can happen on weekend... just be conservative, protect your capital more than gaining profit...

btw UC is still going up, actually now it's SL is only -0.08R really small... lol.. and another trade CJ that i didnt post here, because it is more risky taken at the same time as UC this morning due to being asleep when the signal candle appears only result in -0.376R -> small.. lol the suggestions and method here from the veterans are really cool

Ended up not taking the short position as I don't want to leave the position open over the weekend and it's looks like all liquidity has exited the market today.....I would only be about 5pips up by now if I had taken the position earlier after spread is taken in to account

You could also place a buy/sell stop order a bit above/below price. That way you ensure it's moving your direction when the trade is taken

I took 9 trades this week. 5 were positive and 4 were negative. I came away with just a tad over 4R in profit.
