Went long at Green. Have a smaller short at red. Live account. Micro account. .13 cents positive. .08 cents negative.

last 2 months not traded this pair , suddenly open the old chart to see. breakout already there and now below 1.3067 , may continue towards 1.2900 and 1.2779 and 1.2200 not in straight line though . lets see if stay below 3067 as 3228 breaks up to back for 2779 specially possible if any big turmoils

The support developing on H1 is convincing and I'm of the view that USD/CAD is going up from here..

I think you're right. It's been 5 weeks or so since this rate cut has been spoken of. It's now a known given already factored into the values. Markets are at record highs with continued evidence of a global slow down. CAD does not do well in risk off environments. The next real support is around 1.28, the WEEKLY 200 Moving average. Way too deep for a 0.25 rate cut on the USD side already taken into account.
UP is my vote. I'll be jumping on this one next week like a starving man on a Christmas ham.

I've been in the red so long, it feels good to get back in the money. It looks like the resistance is around the 1.3130 mark. If it breaks through, I could it go quite a distance.

USDCAD [email protected] ...both USDCAD and GBPUSD went long at the same time but USDCAD have better speed ....bet on UC.

You do realize that UC is at top of R100 pivot on H4 with RSI & TDI confirming downtrend being a very high possibility for at least to weekly PP??? Would re-evaluate down move before possible strengthening of uptrend. If you use multiple MA's on D1, still looking at strong possibility of downward momentum, even to 1.3095 minimum. Be very careful of going long on this pair for the moment. I am short at 1.3150.

Still room on D1 TDI uptrend but not much. Guess we will know by end of week, and of course I could be wrong.

Everything has to cycle, my experience is Pivots are correct more than wrong. I play the odds, I will not go against what the indicators show. The indicators and pivots are more accurate than my opinion. I am following the flow based on my indicators, if I am wrong, will still make profit or break even and catch the next swing. Looking at history of trading over years has proved Pivots are extremely accurate. I only post to say be careful of going long right now before it cycles. Even if you are trying to catch a few extra pips so be it. There are multiple strategies and timeframes one could use, I will not get tied into a personal opinion debate. Prefer to use indicators winning 90% and remove what fails. Good luck if you go long, hope you do well, I will follow my system. My thoughts are going long at this point is past my comfort zone unless my indicators say otherwise. Will catch the long when I get the signal. As I said, I could be wrong, if I was a bank, I would not be posting but rather be on a yacht and rich beyond means. You be the bank, I will be the human.

Am not arguing about the pivots....you may use whatever gives you an edge.Just saying, banks don't care about any indicator , when the market is moving can be oversold/overbought for days breaking heavily any R S pivot line...against any logic programmed in any math formula.

Agreed, banks don't care about indicators because they use complex algorithms. Like a surfer, I just try to ride their waves, won't catch their extreme tops or bottoms, just want to ride some of the wave. I make a plan and work the plan, am happy with 150 pips per week spread across different pairs. It is a fun game. We may have a little more to go up, but will catch it without a loss if it happens. Am targetting short until I see otherwise. Looking forward to beer money.
