Remember there's lots of buy orders at this level which means the sharks will try to eat them all up. May be wrong but that's the usual play!

Hi Louise

Hope you're having a nice winter down there! No I'm afraid that CCI, MACD even Stochastic are just too lagging for a fast moving pair like Gold IMHO. Bollinger bands is definitely best to use because akim system works really well in real time especially on H1. You can also use ema's to bounce trades off (in trending situations only!) I can share my settings with you if you want.

I've attached a H1 chart which shows some nice entry points (red triangles) on H1 in the last few days using akim method. As you can see (in hindsight!), it's not difficult to identify these entry points which is why "the man" is making so much money!!

IMPORTANT EDIT
The BB lines need to be horizontal and momentum needs to be normal or slow - in fast trend/news times it doesn't work!

100 pips are too high in EA navk..
its not gold..
i think we have to be more patient in order to get 100 pips in EA
but the uptrend is very strong.. but who knows

"All that glitters is not gold" Agree with your view on that pair and H1 is overbought.

Looks like my prediction on bear trap XAUUSD may be wrong - DXY is weak - going up!!
