My 2 cents
Gold is a safe heaven against DXY. DXY weakening send Gold uptrend, Keeping an eye on DXY will keep us safe.
Hedging against losing trade is normal, but I always close my losing trades with small profit/BE. Let's suppose I've XAUSD 5 Sell losing trades so in uptrend I'll open 10 BUY trades and close 1 Sell trade vs 2 BUY trades in BE/Small profit, that's how you quickly get rid of losing trades.
Trump is serious about American economic growth, he's been in TRADE war with all over the world.
Fed is scared of Trump and finally precautions talking Interest Rate cut, If Fed cut rates then Gold will be the only safe heaven on earth.
