I traded COWABUNGA system for a few years on M15 and H1, also D1. Each timeframe is traded on its own without the need to check the next time frame signal.
You don't find many signals because the trades are 'signal' by confluence of several indicators. No need to do multi timeframe analysis, etc.

Well, we are here kinda b/c of TMS So I think that other systems are kinda off topic. But those videos you posted yesterday were about PA, that's why it was so interesting to watch them.

You are right.

My trading journey in spot forex started with the COWABUNGA system.
I slowly evolved from that system to TMS by removing the MACD, then the Stochastics. To achieve this, I had to replace the RSI(9) to use the Fozzy-RSI which is basically what the TDI is.

I kept both the 5EMA and 10EMA and use them to see the price action for setup/reversal. This is quite similar to the way Big E used the 5EMA for his setup candles and the HA candles....

Week 24 NY Open Jun 09 5PM ... with most pair showing price gaps.

Price gaps are opportunties to make money because 80% of gaps do get filled.

The floating man will need to come back down to earth.

EURCAD Week 24

If we sell EC this week, our cut-loss is previous 2 weeks high. This is one reason why I use 2bars-look-back on Weekly, our account DD is maintain at no more than 2 weeks in a trending market type condition. But when the market type condition is sideways ranging and choppy, it is possible to hold on to basket in floating losses for more then 2 weeks.... we can have several closed baskets (small profits and/or breakeven ones) in wide range sideways market type. This is the beauty to trade average price with TMS MEME. ... always in the market.

Learn the 3 type of market by Mike Baghdady .. study his 4 videos and know what the market type conditions and trade TMS.

"Although my templates do not include his main indicator which was the TDI, they do include other indicators that I find easier to read than the TDI. For example, Big E (Eric) would talk about when the TDI started to bend, or arch, or flatten out, etc. as exit signals which I found to be way too subjective for me, so I eventually dropped it. And, he mentioned that he might drop it also because he could still trade very successfully without it. In other words, he didn't really need it either.

In all honesty, after 20+ years of trading, I can't quantify exactly why I make the decisions I make. It'd be like trying to explain why you lean a certain way when you are riding a bicycle very fast and go around a curve."

Hello Emmanuel, you don'nt use stochastics indicator on the daily timeframe for the tms strategy? Pls, which indicators or rules for the tms strategy is not necessary on the daily timeframe. I love trading on the daily timeframe too. Many thanks in advance.

Hi timidave

You need both the Stochastics and TDI (or the Fozzy-RSI) to be your default TMS template when you plan your trade on all timeframes up to Daily.
The Stochastics is more important when we want to pick the reversal candle setup and the TDI is to confirm the reversal signal.

To trade the Daily, you need to identify the Price Action swings on first your Monthly charts, then on your Weekly you will need to identify the 3 market type conditions what Mike Baghdady explains in his 4 videos.

Thanks, will look at it. It seems to be pretty much similar to the TMS without of the TDI.

Actually i would love to avoid indicators as most as possible but not sure yet where to start.

Do you also know of a trading strategy solely based on price action that concentrates on only one particular setup.

Also I still find it very difficult to identify the markets trend direction, it sounds very simple in theory but actually when ever I look at a chart from left to right i most likely see candles in a messed up chaotic structure doesn’t saying much to me.

Everything you can learn though books and online example charts tend to represent something complete different from what I see every morning looking at any forex chart.

In about 70% of the time no matter what session and time or the day I would say markets are sideways, ranging, consolidation.

So with a day trading strategy based on clear structured trending markets you seem to have a hard time nowdays to find enough valid setup conditions to end up profitable.
