It's not my system but I think Akim sometimes looks at 15 mins for scalping opportunity and higher time frame for bigger pips. I don't trade the Akim system but it's easy to understand. Maybe pick a time frame best for you either scalping or bigger home runs at higher time frame. My advice pick one either H1 or M15 etc etc. You will need to be more patient if you pick H1 but probably lesser mistakes.

Maybe if Akim see your question he can clarify

I mainly use M15 - very rarely H1.

You can even trade M5 in a strong trend. I think it really depends on the trend strength because the lower the time frame the less reliable the trade of course.

Also if you use 200 ema (or similar value) ema's then you can set a rule to only trade away from the ema lines which increases chance of success

Here's a good example from this morning. On the GZ pair - no problem on M5 because the downtrend has been quite strong (see Daily chart). The best trading opportunity was the first one at the opening of Frankfurt/London sessions. That is invariably the case!!

Doing fine waiting for my GU buy setup So far bulls still fighting don't know why. Just saying what I see. Bears faked a new low earlier but no follow thru. Ah well will see...

I mentioned earlier there is an h1 setup (buy) and now an H4 setup sell on dollar index it just closed 6 minutes ago. Fly GU fly

thanks... this is very confusing... the method works but I still need to get the supply and demand, timeframe and the moodiness of the market under the knee. Sometimes the signals works against each other and then a nice setup jumps out of the confusion... gbpjpy this morning was a very good example of Confucius says: I am confusing you!!
