Dollar Head and shoulders broke neck. Looks like it may close below.. then possibly BOHICA! (Bend over here it comes again) I was waiting on that spike to get out of my failed long. whew.

Hey All,

The week is over and price did not make it through my trend-line. The Trade Triangle is getting tighter. I am looking for a break out to the long side with USD news. I still have a long bias even though we are close to some tough resistance points. Be careful next week as it is also months end mid week so look out for re-balancing spikes and cash outs.

Heard about flash crash on yen pairs due to thin liquidity during japan holiday...

interesting to study.....

will market volatile after us close and during austrlalian market open on asia session?

watching market behavior very closely....

News... Fed already stated it wouldn't raise rates this year. So statement is basically out, and will just need confirmation to dip. Unless it is already "baked in"

I would like to go short on AUD/JPY next week since that might be a better pair to trade due to poor fundamentals in Australia and China. A rate cut is now more likely since the economic data out of Australia has been bad. China is slowing down and it is a major importer of natural resources from Australia.

AUD/JPY is not looking good on the daily chart and there is a risk of the bottom around 77.6 breaking down decisively.

Good thoughts. Not much below other than that jpy flash. At least nothing lasting. Wouldn't a buy at the flash low be better? Especially with the Golden Week coming, and the warnings of low volume rips.

Would ideally like to buy within this range. Depends on confirmation though.

sure, buying a flash crash dip is a good trade but the spread can become very wide and we don't know where the bottom will form in low liquidity

the market can stop you out quickly

some brokers may even freeze your platform during such highly volatile events
