With golden week looming, what should be the fundamental outlook for JPY? It should strengthen, right? Given the lack of BOJ trying to devalue the JPY and with Japanese banks away, there should be lesser supply for JPY.

I don't get your comment USDJPY is expected to go back down since BOJ cannot lower rates anymore they are already at negative rate. Only way for it is down that's why. Today just cleared it. And Fed is also not exptected to raise rates at this time too. If you look at the weekly chart highest UJ went up is 114 for a long time. UJ 112 is just the first line of resistance next is 113 then 114. That's why...

Oh and I'm actually looking for a GU short setup right now which haven't arrived yet.

And I'm also serious about UJ going towards 110. There is an H4 setup right now confirming it but stop for that is too huge. Waiting on a lower time frame some kind of retrace to get in short. As you noticed UJ has been very weak all day with no retrace no way for me to enter YET at this time.

I also did have a short on my small account but got stopped out. See how they spiked it today then went down huge. That stopped me out.

Guys keep a beady eye on GBPAUD

Definitely topped out 18430 area - looks good for fall back to 1.8200 or even 1.8150 (IMHO)

GBP may show strong interest in going higher, at least on Tokyo session.
