hi gtketum
i collect pair pics everyday last week and saw that on monday morning if the pair broke its trendline it will go and hit its target as mouteki said. of course the demark lines change by the time with price action but the main target formed on monday usually hit. i use stoch to determine the main trend action and search any trend change possibility. if it makes a bottom for a long time yes we can expect an upward movement and we have to look any entry point in upward direction. if stoch made a long overbought pattern we have to expect an entry point in dowward side. i started also to use for 2 days "bollinger squeeze basic" to search any possible trend change points. it seems to be effective but i have to try it more to make a certain decision.

karakoyunlari dont see how you implement stochs in your decisions for following a TL break or not. could you explain a little bit. also if you have a trend a trade that started at the end of friday, do you consider that as the first trade of the week on monday and then use that target as your first target of the week for that pair? kind of confused with how you come up with those first targets sometimes. also i have been following the mouteki and i dont see where we have multiple targets being explained, but when i put the demark trend indicator on, it shows multiple targets. any clues as to how these targets are calculated?
By the way, i visited your blog and have to comment you on an excellent job in documenting everything so nice. keep it up.

hi gtketum,
first of all thanks for your interest for my blog,
last week pure mouteki usually does not work well in all pairs due to a strong dollar sentiment. we saw a strong trend therefore mouteki breakouts in the opposite direction to the trend did not work. One lesson we have learned is that "NEVER TAKE A POSSITION AGAINST THE TREND ALTHOUGH MOUTEKI BREAK OBVIOUS". If only positions taken when mouteki breakouts are in the same direction with general trend gives +pips.
Bcz i have no much time free i could only analyse a few pairs and publish them in the forum.
USDJPY,
XAUUSD,
GBPUSD,
USDCHF

as a last word i can say that i am still work on mouteki and vegas combination in order to see more appropriate results.

By following the overall trend, you a better chance of a successful trade. Though your trades were not with the trend, it does not mean it will fail, its just something you should observe as part of your trading strategy.

when the channel breaks.. only enter after 20 pips move in the direction of the break.. enter the trade.. put the take profit level at 30 pips.. make sure there are no weekly pivot levels around.. demo for 6 months.. if u start getting proifitable DONT go live until after 5 months.. control ur emotions.. do not enter the trade soon thinking that th emove will run out.. do NOT aim for the full price projection.. hope this helps..

When you say no weekly pivot levels around, how many PIPs are you talking about away from the pivot levels? There are many variations of the pivot levels, do you mean just PP, R1, R2, S1 and S2 since there are some with MR1, MR2, MS1, and MS2.......?

nop.. just the normal R1, R2, etc.. not the mid points.. they arent worth it.. as for how many pips away.. there is no one answer.. i just use my discretion.. when price is near a pivot level i wait for it to smash thru it before going in... if its not near one i just place the breakout trade..

Hi YasirYar,

seeing as you appear to be the most active in the mouteki niche, i was wondering what kind of stop loss do you usually put on your mouteki trades?

Cheers,
Sean

hey.. did u go thru the moutaki stop loss documentation? well if u havent.. u can put a sl of atleast 35 pips to be safe.. more if the price projection is above a 100 pips.. that doesnt go exactly in line with what moutaki says.. but this is roughly the same.. until u read the documentation.. use this and a bit more if it goes over 100 pips.. currencies react differently at different times.. so act accordingly..
