A couple of trades taken yesterday & today.

GCHF is a pair i (almost) never trade, infact CHF charts are not in my radar, however i came across a nice pin after the a strong break on the TL and caught the opportunity.

GCAD is a kind of trade i like, its a simple break of the pin with a sell stop, your risk is above the pins. These are the kinds of trades that I look for, low risk and good reward, i wont say great or fantastic reward as im happy with an RR of 1:3 or 1:5, the idea is to preserve your ammunition for good targets!

Nice Trades My friend!
Unfortunately, didn't catch these nice opportunities, i made a lot of Bank in the beginning of the week on NZD Pairs, so i take my week off to relax and clear my head
High Probability of G/C Falls very very deep on the next weeks.
Will be looking for possible setups on Pound next week, let's see.

Have a nice weekend.
Best regards,
Victor

NC could work, nice support area too. But watch if theres a good movement first - Supports can be broken.

Again, this is a good zone, but can break lower too.

NC I am waiting for a bullish candle to form first. On Gold I am only entering very small positions on the touch of the zone and will add more if I get confirmation candle. Thanks for the feedback

This is an area I was watchign too.

I have a question for you regarding Stop Loss. I know this is not a " Trading System" but I am curious. Where do you place your stop loss for these trades and just take the loss if the trade doesn't go your way?

Do you just place below that support zone, or do you use a set amount of pips? Please elaborate if you don't mind and many thanks in advance!

Hello Zakattack,
Welcome to the Thread, thanks for your ideas.
Oh no, i don't use a fixed amount of pips, it would cause many lost trades in pairs that move faster like the Pound for example.
I like to put the Stop according to the market structure formation, so almost all trades the stops is different, maybe similar but very hard to be the same and in some place that i know that will coast a lot of money to the MM's even try to take me out.
But we need to have always in mind, anything can happen, so we need to trade with patience, caution and thinking about that.
i hope it helps you.

Best regards,
Victor

Two potential setups we discussed sometime ago, my reentries.

EC - entry below the strong support zone, the size of the zone/candle break (usually, not always) shows a very bearish momentum. Entry @ retest around the TL or the broken zone.

NC - The kind of entries i look for, strong bearish daily followed by nice pins along the TL, your risk is above the TL. Very good RR here.

I see you are taking the opposite trade on NC that is why the candle was bearish on the TL lol
