Possible Short: USDJPY H1 10EMA in confluence with M15 35/50.

Waiting for this M15 candle to close as a nice and clear Pin bar to decide if I will go Short.

EDIT: No Pin bar (At the touch of H1 10EMA) after that M15 bar closed, so no trade yet. Maybe a Pin bar forms after touching or getting really close to M15 35/50, We'll see.

This is a H1 10EMA entry fine-tuned on the M5 Time frame. My entry was exactly after the close of the last M5 Pin bar that actually touched H1 10EMA.

Hello Haris.

Looks like you do your first steps and that´s fine.

I would recomment to read the intire "dance thread" + Choros and the manual to get an eye for good and bad entries.

Your entry wasn t that good for a couple of reasons:

1.First touches are the most save touches.
2.-- upper wicks up top and bottom= porcupine donot trade it, the rules say;-)
3. higher timeframe confirmed? Nope!

all in all i can strongly recomment to be picky with good and valid AAA setups.

After reading this thread you´ll be able to spot AAA setups.
up to you if you want to be successful.

Hope that helped.

Guido

Thats what i've been doing from past few weeks and i think i'll have to give another GOOD read to the manual. It'll take me few more months on demo to get the feel of good AAA setups, i'll keep posting screenshots of my entries, please point out all the mistakes and help me learn it better. Thanks

[3. higher timeframe confirmed?[/quote]
Price Action on H4 is above moving averages, I shouldn't have taken short trade, is that what you are referring to.

Keep it simple.

I see no reason why someone shouldn t be profitable with it.

Stick to first touches 10 Ema, steep angle, higher timeframes confirmed-- to get a feeling how it works.

......and if there´s a valid confluence with other MA´s-- even better!

Take only clean and clear setups...

Not too greedy with pips.

The big trick is to sit patiently on the sideline and watch what happens.

Sorry about that will do.

I have a question... what do you guys think of trading the dance on the AUD/JPY during the Asian/Sydney crossover

Basicly you can trade any instrument, just make sure one market is open to have enough "power" to reach your targets.

AJ respects the lines wonderful and it´s not a bad pick.

My trades today were on the usdcad pair:First trade i would describe as scoop up (please correct me if wrong!)-although i´m not sure about it because the break of the 35/50 were not so strong.
I entered as the pin bar had formed.Next i entered at the touch of ema10 in confluence with DP/H4-10.What gave me some more confidence that price will probably go up was the double bottom formed on H4 before.
Wish you all a good weekend!

Okay..
Keep it simple:
If the conditions are not given-- don t trade!

I really wouldn t do such trades!

M15= no valid entry.. fare in the jungle..
H1= MA soup with 4th touch?
WHAT?
I like AAA setups , clean and clear steep angle, first touch, 35 and 50 ema tight together, timing is good=YES

PS: Take a look what "Holgi" showed 2 posts above.. the 10 Ema touch is well spotted.

Hi.

take a look at your first 6 pics.

Market already opened and shows no clear trend.
MA´s are wide seperated and flat.

Start with m15 (or higher) until you get an eye for:
First touches , steep angle of the MA´s tight 35 and 50 ema.

Keep it simple and widen your screen, you´d be amazed how easy it can be.

Stay tuned
Guido
