If Stoch's & the TDI give different signals... lights flash off and on warning me to take a closer look before entering.. and usually I look for another trade. 5 ema... shows direction currently... only wanting to enter on candle 1 or two. If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter... if not and all looks strong then enter on candle 2... use some discretion... practice on Demo... take some chances and see if yor head computer was right... it's free. HA Candles... What are their size? If they are small I will usually go find another set up... Look for consolidation... look for how close PA is to supp/res levels... use your brain !

That safety valve discussion was one that needs a new thread again. This is the issue my MEME EA’s have every week in deciding how to apply that safety valve. It’s a balancing act between leaving the EA alone or giving it a helping hand.
Trying to be too clever with the coding just creates a new problem. It is just moving the goal post from one area to another.

with less than 10 mins to FO, what do we see?

market has been range bound.
last Friday' high low,
this morning's TOK_5H range,
BRN 1.6000 support,
on days like this, we better have Plan A and a Plan B.

Yellow V-Line would have been the correct entry point.

Keep it simple. It won't be easy and yes there are trade's that will be a loss. It is part of trading. How big that loss is will always depend you.

I think i'm improving a bit lately. I think my style most resembles likica/lastingwell/merrygold ...but i don't do things exactly the same as them, kinda chopped, sliced and mixed it all altogether to trade in a way i'm most comfortable with.

currently observing at a few more styles too[like emmanuels] as i see no reason to limit myself.

eur/aud

div, and lh @ resistance, ib formed, took on the breakout after observing the m30 tdi/mbl

cad/jpy, d1 tdi was crossed down, h4 crossed and angling down below 50, m30 pullsback and 123's through the dol

gbp/jpy, div then price and tdi make 2 ll's [alerting me to weakness], price then makes double top, then we get a pinbar breakout on h1 so after looking at h1 tdi and mbl i jump in.
2nd entry, div with double tops on m30 and h4 angle looks nice so i'm in

I have h4 bars overlayed on my m30 bars so i can see what the h4 behavior is like
i have m30,h1,h4 tdi's on my chart too
green ma =200 ema
black ma = 50ema
pink ema = 124 ema
orange ma = 10ema
blue ma = daily 10 ema on d1 [480 ema]
red/crimson ma = 10ema on h4 [80ema]

sorry if you can't understand my chart, but the way i have various mtf's overlaid works for me. i am on single screen, trade multiple pairs. i cannot afford to have too many charts open for each pair

my charts are definitely less of an eyesore than aliens chart in his thread, and if people can understand his charts, i'm sure they could get their head round mine if they really wanted

It used to have but not so any more, it has a higher 7 day ATR at the moment than EU, AU or UJ.

If anyone thinks that losses is part of trading, you need to re-think why you are trading. Stop using that as an excuse when you suffer losses, that is loser's mindset.

When we trade, we want to win and win and win... to make money. The more wins the better.

Drawdown is inherent in every trading system. Drawdown will destroy your trading career.

but the pip value is much better... than AU,EU and GU.

I just had a look at it a few minutes ago, and it doesn't seem to be the worst anymore.

I just took a small entry on h1.
it might win, it might fail ....but it was taken on the same concept as the 1st gbp/jpy trade so it at least has sporting chance i reckon
