DE30 observing M15 price action and with a view to the H4

will this turn around today?
we be patient and follow this from this H4 period onwards.

do not simply trade any of the TDI green cross red, you will lose more than you will win.

remember what your bias is looking at D1 and W1. has this bias changed?

DE30 Feb 26 Frankfurt Open candle

today's FO candle just closed very bullish with good momentum.

the risk is H4 still has 2 hours more to go ....

FO and LO are always tricky and normally I prefer to watch what it does and wait till after Tokyo closing which one hour later.

I have a few lines above current market, I just protect open positions and add-on positions as I see the price action move higher.

An indicator, TDI, or any indicator cannot give a fake signal. The indicators arrive at their position via calculations based upon various criteria and they simply cannot generate fake signals....this is impossible!!

The way signals can be filtered is by simply looking at the trend in the TF in question, in this case, the H1. As long as there are Higher Highs and Higher Lows, then the trend is clearly up, which rules out any Selling until the trend changes. Simple.

by calculation in the coding it is correct because it is based on the Close price.

but I am saying that when a newbie put too much focus at just the angle of the TDI green angle and ignores what the price was doing, then that TDI as signal is fake.
lots of these fake signals in lower timeframe for this particular DE30.


you are correct to use the higher highs higher lows and lower highs lower lows to look at the market trends.

when I trade, I like to look at H4

H4 higher high and higher low ...and after London session closed, it went into narrow range. this is now an opportunity to look for new trade setups today and add-on entries.

but the Asian session is usually not the best time to trade this pair. also the FO and LO hourly are very tricky.

the Daily and Weekly remains bullish bias.

Yes I know what you're saying. But what I'm getting at is that it's incorrect to label any signal as 'fake' (no matter what the indicator is), just because the trader didn't bother to verify the accuracy or relevance of the signal.....and that can be achieved simply by looking at the trend. It can also be achieved by changing the TF (upwards) to see what the indicator is doing there, as I mentioned before regarding the stoch. No matter how it's done, it's foolish to rely on a single indicator or instance of that indicator and I don't think that I have seen that happen here too often.

Yes. perhaps I should have used another word like 'false' signal.

Too much emphasis and time spent looking at TDI and its angle stuff.
traders should spend more time in looking at the bigger picture by switching to look at the higher timeframes and what the price action is and where the support and resistance level zones are, consolidation areas, etc. all these were mentioned by Eric in his Post#647.

About false signals, this posts may be of some help to newbies to study and re-fine their understanding of Big E's trading rules:
These false signal occurs a lot when the market is narrow range trading.

Well, this is what I do and it does work.
Trading has really become easy and simple.
- Plot a V-Line on both chart's
(Post 93,055 : Indicator Chart Line will move the V-Line)
- Every-time M15 TDI makes a crossover check with V-Line if:
- H1 TDI green confirm with a TDI green angle
Both TDI green must be:
- Between 2 / 4 no trade.
- Between 2 / 1 and 4 / 5 are good signals to enter a trade.
- Between 12 / 1 and 5 / 6 are the best signals to enter a trade.
Both Stoch must confirm direction.
Apply Post#647 before placing the trade.
Use Break=Even + spread to lock in profit (or don't use it.)

Yellow trend line indicate a possible loss.
Manage your own lossing trade's as you see fit.
How big will depend on you.

Do your own homework.
- Let the method convince you if it is profitable or not.
- Test it in live forward testing and find out for yourself.
Don't rely on me to proof to you that this can work or not.

At the start of the week and day, I know what my big picture is.
Weekly is bullish - price action is making higher high higher low
Daily is also bullish - same price action.
Both charts are showing the price and HA candles above the 5EMA.
Look at only clean charts with TMS template.

Then I look at my multi-chart M15 , H1 and H4,

seeing that H1 and H4 are the same price action - both the price and Ha candles are above the 5EMA, trade decision would be easier.
look for simple price action buy setups in either M15 or M5 which is my preference.
know where I want to place my trade initial stop loss and use Position Sizing for every position.
I do not place too entries in the same 4H period. maximum is only one open position at minimum 4 hour interval.

M15 has several entries opportunities following H1 and H4 price action above 5EMA,

Follow the method rules in use.
The more you use the same rules over and over, the better the trading results will become. (the brain will start to remember).
Learn to "trust" your method (rules), eventually you will be able to glance at both chart's and place a trade.

This is only to show a little more detail:
Take note how M15 green angel and H1 green angle agree with direction.
The angel MUST follow the rule, don't ignore this.
You will suffer losses.
Use sound judgement, unsure find reasons not to place a trade with Post#647.
You need to do your own testing.

Look at this chart and above chart. Can you see the difference in were a real trade was entered and where this chart has plotted the trend-line for a sell.
How many of you have spotted the diffidence?
Learn to look at what information the chart is showing. Pay attention to detail.
