Nicely done Johannes7. Sadly, Im out of town for most of this week, so I cannot accurately test the 3x cmsm system. But if you dont mind me asking:

-which EA version are you using?

-Do you have "Add New Trade Suggestions on real basket"=TRUE or FALSE?

-ALL 3 CMSM settings MovingAverage Multiplier as "1,2,3,4,5,8,12" OR "1,2,3,4,8,12"

Thanks in advance for the info Johannes7. Yohec, Chrisdk, and I are trying to gather info on why some do well with the "3x CMSM Strategy" and some do not, even though we are all suppose to have the same settings. By getting the needed settings and info from others, hopefully we can find something out that we may be overlooking.

Yahooo !!! Finally, seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Starting to look like the good ole days of the 3x CMSM system when I started testing it.

"SMA" the winner again? Good sign just in case someone wants to run a single CMSM Indicator on their chart.

You two may have already done this in the future, so forgive me if Im bringing up old news, but, have you guys tried testing out the "SMA" setting of the CMSM v17.01?

Our testing timeline has be very short, but a few of us members are noticing that out of the 3 cmsm v17.01 settings, EMA / SMA / LWMA, it seems that "sma" has been the best out of the 3.

Let me know what you two think. I could be way off base though.

I definitely noticed the very good performance of the SMA basket. I started this week running a side test of SMA. But I am using a different opening time and I am also adding a couple of baskets with negative triggers.

I'm going to see how it goes this week and post the results on Friday.

If you just want to use something different, that's no problem.

DeathCab I have not tested the MA inputs so I will follow along to see if there is an edge between them.

Seems as though I was a bit too quick to close the basket today, looking at the pairs now the basket would have reached TP.

Oh well at the time it did not look so good after 4 hrs of trading so I made the call based from previous results.

What is the setting for Dash Fibo V1: does the TimeFrame to open chart (default is 1Day) affects the % strength?

Hi Xmess7,

I'm running a couple Asia Session tests starting at 21:00 GMT+0 Forex.com that have never taken any trades. I see the VB open but never a RB open. As I was sitting here the VB closed and was only down -30pips or so.

Then I noticed it was 00:00 GMT+0 Forex.com and I remember reading something about the VB resetting at GMT 00:00.

Is there an easy solution?

If not I'll just skip the VB for Asia and open the RB.

Different settings is good / bad.

Bad: Everything could have same if you guys share preset and templates.
Good: someone genius try different settings and come up with better settings.

Yohec and your results are wonderful. So I might give it a go next week.

I like your VB idea, will play with settings later. Yesterday when VB opened, almost all pairs opened against their trend and I was scratching my head but then it was lucky GBP Gain so VB in Profit GAIN 361+.

GBPUSD is still in demand before Thrusday as usual, banks are preparing their positions. We'll see what happens on Thursday I am expecting a nose DIVE for GBP but you never know where big bank moves. Finger cross.

I just stopped out (since I'm just testing I don't often manually close, live I would).
