My negative trigger is set at -250 pips. I came within 10 pips of hitting the trigger.

My lowest pip gain was -241 pips at 16:13 hrs. The lowest shown in your picture is -193.7 at 16:12. We both opened our VB's at the same time. So there is a 45 pip difference between us. I see you have 7 pairs vs. 8 pairs for me and you use Forex.com and I use Oanda, but that still seems too much of a pip difference.

So, in ur EA settings you also have "Add new Trades Suggestions on Real Basket"=TRUE and "For Multiple Lists allow Duplicates on Real Basket"=TRUE ?

At 0800gmt this these were my initial trades EMA=2 trades but then added 1 trade 2min later & 1 trade 59min later for a total of 4 active trades / SMA=15 trades / LWMA=6 trades but then added 2 trades 57min later for a total of 8 active trades.

Today, as of 0800gmt, my inital trades are the same as urs but I currently have 13 trades that were "added" to the RB after the initial 0800gmt open. Im thinking that could be the difference between my results and yours and Chrisdk.

Depends on broker prices, as well as which is the additional pair in your basket. A GBP pair, along with additional spread, could very well account for a 45 pip difference. Good luck...

That must be the difference. I just noticed that I have "FALSE" set for "Add New Trades". I actually thought that I had it set to "TRUE". I'm going to continue running it on "FALSE" for the next few days to see what results I get.

Post #16,946 shows my current setup with indicator settings and all. From my direct post above, it looks like my problem could be that I have my EA settings where it will add new trades throughout the day if they appear on the indicators. I think that is where the "added" trades in the "comment" column, comes from.

Did you get a chance Chrisdk to look at my EA settings posted above to see if they are the same as yours?

My thoughts are, that you and Yohec have "Add new Trades Suggestions on real basket"=FALSE, where I have it set to TRUE.

And, what are your settings for the "For Multiple Lists allow Duplicates on realbasket"?

Mind you, I am using 3 x charts with 3 x EAs.

I never really tracked the max DD, but if you look back you can check my posts of previous weeks and see the DD numbers. I don't think it ever went over 5% though.

For those of you using multiple basket and trying to find out the profit per basket, you can do this by using the basket ID number which is already in the comments field. When you activate the Comments column in the AccountHistory Tab, you will notice there are 3 numbers separated by "_" at the end of each comment cell. The first number is the MagicNumber, the second number is the ID of the basket, and the third number is just the order in which the EA took the trade.

So the next thing you do is SORT that Comments column (Just click on the title "Comments"). This will more or less group all comments together, thereby making each BASKET ID a group of rows. You can then add up the PROFIT column for each "BASKET ID".

To somewhat automate the calculation and grouping you can do this. Right click on the AccountHistory window and select "Save As Report". The report should open in your Internet Explorer. You then, with your mouse, select all of the trade data and copy it. Open Excel and paste the data that you copied. Or, I think you can just open the report directly from Excel. In either case once the data is in Excel now you can do more to group it and get the info you need per table.

Will I add this function to the EA?? Maybe. Its not really that critical and with some effort you can get the results manually. Someone said they might get lazy with this EA... well not really LOL. More important are the Max/Min values. That is where the money/risk_control is.

You can get an estimate. Find out what the value per pip is from the lot size you are using and divide the total profit by that. For example typically on a 50:1 leverage a 0.01 lot is the equivalent to 10 cents per pip value. So if your total profit is $10 .Then pips=$10/.10 or about 100pips. This is just an estimate cause the actual value per pip can be different and you have not factored in any commission or spread fees.

I found this post about a week ago and I'm impressed with the strategy, the community and the support you and others provide.

I ran my first pair exclusion test and it worked just as I hoped it would. The best news is it was an easy 250 pips!

I opened the basket an hour before London open (0700 GMT Forex.com, 2AM New York). I excluded any pairs that didn't include the GBP, EUR or CHF. I used MrDFX preset as my base and just changed the time and added the exclusions.

My theory is currencies move better when their markets, businesses and governments are open.

I will be testing my theory for months and if successful I'll share the results.

The SMA and LWMA MODES are always blank. Any idea why this may be happening? I'm using different I.D. numbers for each and the problem occurs when I have all 3 on the same chart and also on separate charts. Cheers and many thanks in advance.

Hmmm, never heard this before. And you have all 3 cmsm indicators on 1 chart with the EA on the same 1 chart?

Did you run the "ForceLoadHistoricalData.ex4" script before starting your testing? You may need more data for all your indicators to read. On page 1 Xmess7 has listed on his site this Historical Load Script for you to put into your MT4 Script folder. But before you run it, make sure you click "show all" for ur symbols on the left hand side of ur MT4, in order to make sure all pairs gets the historical data it needs to run on each Indicator. If you have already done all of this then I am not sure what the issue could be.

Using Trade Level 2 on each Indicator?

Contact Grandaevus or Xmess7 if the issue persists.
