You are using different settings on the indicator. Notice that he had 7 open trades and you had 15 trades.

Its mm is very good. For 15 position it utilized only $169. I didn't intervene in its operation. The profit was more than 50%. I didnt lock the profit to see its performance. Moreover, I didn't use VB. But I don't understand why Pippopotamus is always having a reverse result!!

He's talking about the daily basket approach not the weekly basket.

The difference being that on daily you trade a basket every day where as on weekly you don't trade every day of the week, you pick the days you want to trade. It can be one day or several days but not each day.

Be patient. if you decide to continue using this approach after you are successful... just wait lol you will see many newbies come in and even though they are told exactly what to use (hec the presets are already available) they will venture off and do their "own" testing. Which is kinda ok, cause you never know someone may just find something that works...

Ouch, that was a rough week.

I opened my VB on Monday 15:10 GMT and the RB opened on negative trigger of -350 pips on Tuesday 14:05 GMT. I then closed the basket 2 hours later for +141 pips (+2.7%). I was lucky to close it then, otherwise, I would have been in the same boat as you with a big drawdown, because it did not go much higher than that. I remember there were some high impact news on NZD on Tuesday night that would have sent my basket into deep drawdown.

Are you putting additional filters on your trade suggestions? Or maybe placing a maximum limit? My basket had all the same 7 pairs as you plus 5 more, for a total of 12.

I am now going to concentrate on trading the "Negative Trigger" method. I posted my entry rules on post #16,899. I feel very good about the profitability of this method.

Im slightly confused. I am running CMSM 17.01 Weekly settings (but running 3 separate settings at the same time), but trading Daily @ 0800gmt, and getting 200pips Tgt. every single day for the last 6 weeks. EA v44.7 / No SL. Very easy. Why not run things this way?

By running 3 separate settings at the same time of the Indicator, surely you get a lot of trades, but you hit ur target way faster than normal. Usually within 2hrs or less. And that is every single day. Comes to 1,000pips profit easy per week.

But if you are going to trade this Live, I would start with 150pips tgt Daily. Just to make sure the Tgt. is hit before increasing your trade size.

Let me know what you guys think.

I am trying to figure out what those 3 separate settings could be. Maybe the moving average period or multiplier?
Please elaborate on that.

Those are very impressive results, 200 pips per day for 6 weeks. I would like to run some tests using your method. I have been running tests with CMSM 17.01 for the past 4 weeks and my results are nowhere as good as yours. I have been using the settings used by mrdfx and xmess7:

Could you show us what settings you are using? Also, are you opening 3 baskets at the same time, each with different settings? I've been looking through your posts but I haven't found your settings (I'm still looking).

It could be that the opening time of the basket makes all of the difference. mrdfx, xmess7, and I have been opening our baskets at 10:00 GMT while you open at 08:00 GMT. And since you usually hit your target within 2 hours or less, that would explain a lot.

If you would please confirm your CMSM settings, I would like to start testing your method this week. Thanks in advance.

Don't worry. I have nothing to lose as I am not dependent on this system as now I don't trade currency anymore. I found this system interesting so playing with it and is optimistic with the system.
