Scal_USDJPY overview and characteristics
Scal_USDJPY is a scalping type EA that operates 24/7 on USDJPY currency pair. With the appropriate Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP), The EA yields considerably good profit.
The default SL is set at 200, but this value can range anywhere from 50-200 with a potential profit factor between 1.8 – 7.0, which I think could be promising for traders.
Scal_USDJPY’s provides the ease of trading, without the need of minute curve fittings.
Although the number of transactions is slightly low with the default setting, it’s possible to increase this number by changing the 3 boost values.
Because trailing stop function is also included, it is also possible to leverage TP.
Scal_USDJY main functions include the following:
- Economic indicator filter
- Trailing Stop function
- Friday position close
- Interest Compound feature
- Early position close
While most of these functions should be clear, Early position close prevents the EA from trading in morning time (GMT+9 Japan time zone).

Scal_USDJPY Backtest result
Scal_USDJPY has been run on 2 different Backtests with different risk distribution, based on a real account. This is to provide less biased and more diverse results that is based on EA’s flexibility for multiple trading patterns and settings. However, despite this flexibility it’s still possible for the EA to maintain low risk.
The best way to do that is to distribute the risk, which means running the EA on two MT4 platforms simultaneously. With some or little differences in parameters setting, the EA will trade similarly on both MT4 platforms, such as open close position at the same time. (However, make sure to set the magic number value different)
Below is the 1st backtest conducted.
