We can see that the news doesn't move markets, because we can plot the wave principle sequence forward just using law of wave principle and news never effected an outcome.

One effect of news we can see clearly is brokers raise swap fee's or lower leverage based on rumors and they generate more swap fee's as terrified traders enter and exit trades more frequently around newsdoo. Oh and don't forget to close your trades over night incase the creature of the night steals your position, oh more entry fee's in the morning.

Not true. News moves markets and sometimes if tech agrees, change the trend completely. Without news all markets would be dead.

Ultimately it is sentiment that moves the markets. Sentiment is mainly fuelled by fundamentals but, to some extent, also technical interpretations.

Yes because i know what he's trying to say but he didn't formulate it correctly. He's a tech trader and nothing wrong with that. But to say news doesn't move markets is not right...all you have to do is look at the last two biggest up bars from H1...when were they formed? During news right?

I find it hard to believe though that people who trade on weekly chart are like 'oh no nfp is coming best protect my investment' lol. Swing traders don't care about news but still...they want it because it speeds things up!

Honestly, I've found that although technicals can be considered independent of news, they often react interchangeably.

In other words, I've witnessed price react to news events exactly as I predicted using just technicals. While also personally being unaware of the news.

You figure that one out, I still can't make head nor tail of it.

honestly, nothing makes sense in forex, neither tech nor funda ; sudden spikes can come mostly from funda news events, tech does not give sudden spikes, tech is purely historical data

Yes, nothing new here, that's how it's supposed to be, until things are ripe for a true reversal. Often before news though, they like to leave both sides open (meaning in an uptrend give the impression or possibility that a high can form) so that they could bring 'fear' into the equation and make you double check your position. People that check Daily will call 'bluff' while people that only watch lower timeframes will be scared to hold their position through news. Only things like brexit, barriers set on prices, really big and heavy news can affect Daily timeframes and up. But even then...techs have to line up before or after the news.

The market moves through different timeframes in a sequence we call 'wave principle', it's structure first published by Elliot in 1930's. It's a sequence that rules every single wave in every time frame and it's the entire cycle. Knowing where price is within the cycle reveals every move in sequence. With correct execution of the wave principle we can and have posted every single move every hour for months without end. Knowing this we can clearly see how news is having zero to little (30 pip nfp) effect in the overall structure. We can see price never moves outside of it preceeding wave of one higher degree. We can see the wave principle projections play out by fixed laws of energy and no after the fact re telling of causal events has been seen to move price out of what was already forcast using nothing but the pure law of energy motion and nature... The Wave Principle.

If you have solid evidence to disprove I would be fascinated.

@suthmo to me Elliot Wave is nonsense but i didn't perfect it. Neither did you though. Either give up that shit or perfect it if you want to use it. When you make a statement, it's not up to me to disprove it, it's up to you to prove it and i was here to see all your busted accounts. You did catch some waves i agree but the end result was the same.
