where did you had a first trade opened? I had also positions there...closed ok but in loss due to massive volatility and the last grid position was not at the right distance as set but higher due to volatility so the set TP was not enough for profit. But I am glad since yesterday was massive...look at eurjpy for example

Getting back up to surface from the deep waters (EURJPY recovers).

Good thing I had let default max grid positions at 7, otherwise account would be probably at margin call (drop at AUDUSD, EURJPY and also NZDJPY).

But survived only with around 38% DD.

Good for the rallyes/drops like these - we learn from them most. Sad thing is sometimes this learning costs whole accounts...

This is indeed very good EA. Just need to choose the right combo of pairs and MM...

Adding some moments...

GBPUSD got to 7th step and profit, max 292 pips against
EURJPY M5 and also M15 got to max 7th position, maximum 761 pips against (M5) and 747 pips against (M15) - both still recovering.
NZDJPY got to 7th step and quick profit, max 385 pips against
...and few others like EURUSD and EURGBP but those vere minor and quick profit. These all were in DD at the same time...so far solid output of the EA.

I have done a lot of backtesting and it is hard to use this EA without blowing the account. I'll keep testing though.

Hello ,

On your poll you should have included the option, "Not profitable, lost money"

I am not saying that your EA is not profitable but if you want a fair poll you should look at both sides of the coin....

Hello everyone,

I am new here and was looking for a grid EA to learn. I have read there is a free version few people are using and I have gone to www.filtergridea.com

but there is no free trial downloads on the website as well. Can someone please attach a free version for me to try?

Same deal with the Benjamin/Hamilton bots, leader of the Market Hackers FB group blew his account.
If it has grid or martingale in the name, run away.
