As far as i can remember, Forexpinbar's original strategy was open a basket on monday and wait till friday close. My advice is only valid for this simple strategy.

For other strategies, please follow MrDFX's & YOhEC's rules.

I've never posted a method nor a strategy. I'm not using an expert advisor. I'm a manual trader.

so CMSM V20.03 is just an indicator and you have to open positions manually?

I wonder if there is an indicator that can help us to monitor the pip fluctuation of the basket during the trading period. That would be incredibly helpful in setting the parameters for entry and exit points. Would be tremendously grateful for it.

Market was too volatile OR better I say violent for traders. Just to watch I did put V20.03 with v44.3 with Virtual Basket to be triggered at 10000pips to make sure it did not trigger a real basket.

V20.03 Settings:
Trade level: 3:00 @ PERIOD_D1
PeriodMultiplierRange: 30

Virtual Basket:
Highest pip gain: 2488.7pips
Lowest pip gain: -43.7pips

what is your view on when not to trade? 1 hour before news? if so, how long you wait after news release to start trading?

Couldn't be worse than mine. CMSM is a currency strength indicator. You can use it as a useful filter to find the pairs to be traded in your manual trading or you can use with an expert advisor with one of the strategies written at first post.

V20.03 is the successor of v17.01. Shifting to new version is highly recommended.

It doesn't effect as long as currency strength colors stay same. PeriodMultiplierRange = 20 would most probably give the same suggestion list with PeriodMultiplierRange = 40 but suggestion list order'll be different.

Try running V20.03 with default settings, if your system seems to be getting slower, then decrease PeriodMultiplierRange to 30 or 20.
