Quoting jumperDislikedAs soon as the most recent candle appeared, the supply line you used for frame 1 was already incorrect. You should be using frame 2's supply line since the first point was then validated.Ignored
Quoting tjnoonieDislikedHi,
I have recently begun receiving alerts which I am very excited about. My charts and quotes are not lining up with yours, for obvious reasons. So I'm wondering what the best way to handle the alerts would be.
For example: The last alert I received was a breach of the lower trend line for the USD/JPY:
1. Lower trendline was drawn by the indicator between the low of the
bar at 2006.10.11 08:00( price level of 118.90000000) and the low of
the bar at 2006.10.10 04:00( price level of 119.34000000)
2. The indicator has detected a qualified breach of that trendline by a
candle (bar) opening at a price of 119.58000000, below the trendline at
2006.10.12 12:00, after a cross of the trendline by a previous candle
(bar).
My chart has the recent qualifying low at 10/11/06; 4:00; low of 119.34
and the prior qualifying low at 10/9/06; 20:00; 118.90.
I am using Interactive Brokers data and Sierra Charts.
It is so different, it practically seems like I'm looking
at a different market than you are.
Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for all your great work.

Quoting llambert3DislikedI don't remember what I had to enter when I downloaded Metatrader, but maybe it uses the address to determine the time zone. It may ask you what time zone as well, just can't remember.Ignored
Quoting llambert3DislikedGMT is through the open, so not sure. In my backtesting, the trade still worked going through the open, but that is looking back and saying, "oh it would've worked",, I didn't buy this one, but this will probably be another "oh I should've bought it" moments.Ignored
Quoting YasirYarDislikedto tell u the truth .. im not that sure about this one eitherits at -20 pips right now.. but im demoing so
anyways wt did u mean by GMT thru the open??

Quoting llambert3DislikedWell, it should be confirmed long now. The trendline went through the candle open, instead of the open being above the tl. The open was actually slightly lower than the trendline, so roughly 4 hours ago, I didn't think it was a buy. Now I do.Ignored
Quoting llambert3DislikedHee hee, I explained what I meant on the gbp/usd thread. Both are a Mouteki buy now.Ignored
