It sounds like his request will only need to be changed on the negative side of the VB bounce. There is no bounce on the positive side of the VB is there? On the positive side once the pip count passes the threshold set in the inputs the RB opens right away, no waiting for a bounce the other direction like there is when using a negative trigger.

You are correct. I had not thought about the bounce on the positive trigger. I believe that the way the EA is set up right now, the bounce you specify applies to both the positive and negative triggers.

I was only interested on the negative bounce on my request a few posts ago. I was going to use it on my second baskets which only open on negative triggers.

It's a matter of preference. This bounce thing is nothing more then telling the EA that when it reaches x pips .up or down that instead of opening a real basket at that point to now wait for the profit to move either up or down (this is where u the user sets the +/- on the input) from that point another x pips and then open the real basket.. It's like u are telling the EA to shift the 0 profit level and then from that point to wait for profit to either go up or down x pips and then open a real basket.

I called it bounce cause you can imagine like the profit falling down to an invisible floor and then bouncing up x pips Going the other way it would be like pricing rising up to a ceiling, hitting it and then falling down. It gets more interesting .cause u can also tell the EA to let it "smash" through on either the floor or ceiling. The code is flexible in that respect. This is what makes it a preference, the user can configure it in either direction with the "bounce" going either way.

Now for what yohec's is proposing it would then be matter of grabbing the Min or Max (again the user decides direction) and just keep getting those values until you get that "bounce" u desire. A new condition would be required, you would need to tell the EA when to start looking for the bounce. Just like what is done wth the trailstop.

i have been following and applying this EA from couple of months. I couldn't figure out why virtual Basket not running on my system. worked just twice from last 3 months, tried everything but in vain contacting you.

I have attached below settings screenshots. kindly request to fix this. can i run vbasket manually? all trades added even in negative resulting losses.

Thanks xmess for this. I'm seesing consistent losses, with no positive pips in a week of testing on the daily settings.... I am on a demo account. Any guidance would be gratefully received.

Hi
Yeterday was a bad day and lost 200 pip. today i earned 54 pips. today the market wasn't
oscillation and i closed it manually. But ridiculously at the same time in another broker i'm still in minus basket and almost losing 40 pips! i don't know why?!

Recommended Settings:
Always make a gap analysis to set the optimum trade level.

Changelog:
Lots of improvements in the code.
Manual entry of moving average multiplier values is no longer needed.
Search depth is increased for better accuracy.

V20.03 is the successor of v17.01. Shifting to new version is highly recommended.

What is your recommended entering time for a weekly trade with this version?

Is it still Tuesday 15:00 GMT like with the CSM v.19.01
