Based on your chart, you are right that you have a long signal. I would be careful there though since the line looks steep.

jtest, and everybody else, if you click on the Forex Forums link you are going to see 3 sets or groups of data (Forex forums, Niche Forums and Community Forums) Mouteki material, data and everything else you can think of about Mouteki is under the Niche Forums. You will see MOUTEKI TRADING as a link under this Niche Forum.

I think everyone gets to this thread by using the newest post, and then people usually attach a link to how to get to the right threads about Mouteki when someone asks. Hopefully, the above paragraph will help everybody new out from now on.

You have to save the file to your

c:\program files\metatrader 4\experts\indicators

folder (assuming you installed Metatrader using the default), close Metatrader then open it back up. It will then be under your custom indicator.

My feeling about the dolar,...is...down,...but if u look for the chart on a weekly base there could be more downside on euro,...

Can someone pls check USD/SIT,...its totally reversed from eur/usd,..since SIT will be in euro zone from 2007,...and further,...and do some technical analise...

I belive that dolar above 191/191.5 SIT is completly overvaluated,..but since i got account in dolars,..i like it if dolar is gaining. It actually demotivate me from trading..

We all expect the dolar to go back to its range 1.26, 1.27,...on a long run,..some expect to break 1.300,...but not this year i guess.

i went short yesterday however started going other direction

karakoyunlar; nasilsiniz? nereden? ben texas'tan cikiyorum. forex 1 aydir kullaniyorum yeni sayilirim. mouteki method simdiye kadar fena sayilmaz.

When deciding to trade this pair, I think it's very important to look at the day chart... Since the move up on 9-14, it's really going sideways. It broke out of the range on 10-3, but is still in a tight consolidation.

This week is the tightest I've seen it since I started trading the 4x market a year ago. Things should breakout here pretty soon... At least with this pair when it's consolidating, it has a 300 pip range. Still difficult to trade in these conditions.

I cant but agree after cheking the daily. I'm looking forward to trade this pair next week, thanks for the heads up.

I have a query regarding mouteki trading that has been bothering me for a while.

I have produced an animated gif of EUR/CAD to represent the dilemma that I am in.

In the frame 1 of the EUR/CAD I have the resistance line being broken by the 4H 16:00 candle as presented. At 20:00 the candle opens above the resistance line, signalling a BUY for the EUR/CAD.

The dilemma that I have is: if you look at frame 2.. Resistance Point 1 is now at a different location which therefore that same candle [4H 20:00] is now below the resistance line and is NOT a BUY signal.

I do recall that Mouteki mentioned that he constantly redraws the support and resistance lines to determine the signals, so does this mean that frame 1 of the graph is incorrect.

Your help would be much appreciated.

As soon as the most recent candle appeared, the supply line you used for frame 1 was already incorrect. You should be using frame 2's supply line since the first point was then validated.

Delta - Your following the principle of Mouteki but unfortunately it isn't 100% accurate (although the situation posed may turn out to be profitable).


In looking at the trendline you should note that a new high will be established on the new 4hr candle opening and in such conditions I personally ignore the last known high point and it's associated trend line and work out a new trend line based upon the newest high which WILL be confirmed.
