I will think it through and look back at some of the old threads. I'll let you know if I find something that stands out.

I would be happy with .5% per day if the highest DD was 20%

To all: Be very careful with the current state of the EA. It is a mis-believe that a hedge is at work here. There is no hedge at all. Once the real position was opened it is a normal one-directional trade.

NO HEDGE

As currently there is no stoploss the position can run against you until the account is blown. At the moment it is pure luck if the account survives. A single wrong position is enough to kill the account. Again: there is NO safety net by any kind of hedge.

As I explained in my former post the strategy needs a defined entry (at the moment it's a coin toss) and a defined stoploss. Only after this is implemented the strategy has chances to make money in the long run. You have been warned.

Yes, the truth is you are 100% correct. I think the only safe way to really do this utilizing the synthetic trade hedge is to have an indicator that shows the state of the hedge (T101 had some excel type sheets that displayed this) then when there is an imbalance one way or another you simple open the full hedge changing the buy and sell group accordingly and then wait for a small profit to close on. We used to do this by simply running a demo account and opening the 14 pairs (7 sells and 7 buys). After observing the account for a while you start to get a handle on the ebb and flow. If the demo is well positive you open the trade hedge on the live account reversing the buys pairs and sell pairs and vise versa. This always keeps DD under control and eventually you do get some profit with little risk. The trick is to know where the sweet spot is to take profit.
Maybe a stupid idea but:

is it a idea to built some kind of grid in the last trades, when the trades goes against you for let say 15 ore 20 pips it opens a new trade.

The results are as below Jaisingh It is going as you said. As observed the account history is plus after three days but the running trade are negatiive .

I'm a fan of basket trading and for me it's the better way to make money in forex.
I tried your EA at London open and every time I made profits.
The negative point is after 2 or 3 hours LO the EA is losing.
So I suggest in your improvement a timer to choose the beginning and the close of the action and not use permanently.
I'm following your work. Have a good day.

I have started FBS Demo cent account from 10000 and this Ea gain 2000 profit in 4 days but now it close all orders Leave usdjpy open .is this a bug or other reason? Overall it is Wonderful and sorry for my English
He jaisingh shall i stop the EA by closing all trades and reopen at monday now the looosing trades are -8 dolller

thanks for test EA, it's good to try on first on demo account, some time in demo account price cot issue, or some closing issue that why it create problem,

here not SL rules, be course here total 14th pair almost protect both side, but give me few time, i create new version they maybe not issue about loss,
