It seems like once we get into the 3-5% we might have to pull the plug. It would be nice if one your goal of 3% was reached it would stop for the day. But I know that might be hard with EA, so I wonder if we can have another EA that will monitor the account balance and once the 3-5% it will not let anymore trades for the day.

Thanks for the prompt answer. What is the condition to switch from sensor to real trades? Right now I experienced two baskets where it seemed odd or not systematic.

See the screenshot of the equity chart (a 3.000 demo account with 0.5% = $15): The first basket opened and closed in profit. The second opened real positions almost immediately after the sensor trades. The sensor trades have never been in profit but the real ones opened.

I have started testing from yesterday with a account balance 4567 USD, until yesterdeay it made a profit of 100 USD, but now the overall open position is -420.00USD

I tried to test the EA and attach it on EURUSDm 5 min chart (Exness Trial 2) yesterday. Till now, not a single trade was triggered.

Let me add some observations, if you don't mind:

 

  1. Without a stoploss the strategy is doomed. I guess you already know that.
  2. Your basket has a very, very, very strong correlation to EURJPY. It's not a temporary correlation but a permanent one, and it's so strong that in fact you can replace the whole basket with EUR/JPY and get almost identical results. Reason is the way you constructed the basket. If you really want to trade that specific combination of pairs it is easier (and saves trading costs) to just replace the many orders with one single EUR/JPY order. Why would it be easier? Because you can put indicators on EUR/JPY to find the trend. You don't need the sensor trades.
  3. Your use of different pairs for the long/short side is not needed. You can use the exact same pairs long and short and get the exact same results.
  4. Your sensor trades of 0.01 lot are not needed and only increase your slippage/trading costs. Don't send them to the market, keep them in memory as virtual trades and monitor the trend as before. Your profit will become better as transaction costs and slippage decrease. At the moment costs are about 10% which reduces your profit target of 0.5% to about 0.4-0.45%. That's a lot. I guess you also know that.

Main points: At the moment your basket has no stoploss and no defined entry condition (see my former post). Therefore the results will be similar to a coin toss. In the long run you will lose what you made. To overcome that you need to define a better entry and a stoploss.

Anyway, it is well done. If you fix entry and stoploss and maybe reconstruct the basket it can work.

i really appreciate your research about strategy and EA, i find what it the best for this EA ( with low DD ) i update already, test on my PC, after i done results, i post here, yesterday full night update it, now i update, wait for few time, i post new version,

i suggest try on demo first, they after you get good results, they after go on live account,

i recommend minimum 1500$ for this EA,

Its working as jesingh is saying slowly profit is going up..Below are result after third day on XM demo account.

@jesing thanhs for share you EA , i am in testing on demo account, can you add the possibility to choose which pairs to work? 14 are too many.

you just add any pair, any time frame, just put EA, EA automatically select pairs for trading,


sorry, but it's basket trading, here need all 14th pair, so it's work,

Thanks for sharing your EA

I`ve got a few questions,

After de first first trades, 7 buys and 7 sells he will open 7 new trades ( when buy ore sell is bigger than €0,50 )
In my case ( demo account 5k ) it opens 0.24 ( is there a way to place smaller lotsizes ? )

You say : but profit after 3 to 5 days, but never loss your money,

How can you say this? When there comes a trendreversal you can lose a lot of money in mij opinion ?
Maybe i`m missing something ?
