Just found you posts. There are many strategies here. The AUDUSD I shared has nothing to do with weekly middle band and daily lower band. What I shared is when bearish candle forms completely outside the bands. Then for the weekly middle band and daily lower band, it has not formed

It's was too early. That's the reason I said if I were to trade the setup I would use a "Buy Stop Order" little above the high price or alternative wait for bullish candle to form inside the bands, since the bearish is almost outside the bands. If it were bullish candle I would join immediately. Understand the different between the two candles- bearish and bullish

hi bro,
what if on Weekly TF it shows that the bullish form outside top bb, and on D1 TF it also form outside top bb, is it vs (valid signal)? or are we too late because the bullish already break middle bb and go straight to the top bb? (like now in EURCAD, big CAD news ahead)

I have no percentage stop loss based. For long position, I place stop loss little below the low price of the candle that made the setup. For short position, I place stop loss little above the high price of the bearish candle that made the setup. Check the charts I have uploaded here. When the candle is too big/long and the stop would be too wide either I skip it or wait for continuation setup- that may have smaller candle

Allow the bearish candle to form inside the bands, then we may have bearish bias. It means that when bullish forms outside the upper band during uptrend, it's not a clear signal yet, though the bears may soon come in because the bulls over pierce the upper band. Similarly during downtrend when bearish candle forms outside the lower band, like the last candle on AUDNZD, allow and wait for bullish candle to form before joining, otherwise we get ambushed. But when bearish candle forms outside the upper band during uptrend we have greater bearish bias than when it's bullish candle outside the upper band.

Please understand the strategy very well with the type of candle that are formed. That's the reason I uploaded the two charts, for bearish setup and bullish setup. Picture is more than a thousand words.

246 pips after the formation of earish candle outside bollinger bands. I already closed yesterday, because of increased negative swap. It has shown a continuation around the 4hr middle band. On the daily the the broken support level 81.616 was retested and bearish candle formed below it. I hope to join again on Suday market open

am wondering why you got into AUDCAD,i like to understand the condition that lead you to joining the pair, because on daily chart it has broken the middle band but on 4hr chart the pair has giving a buy signal with a bullish candle closing outside the lower band. i dont think the pair is safe to be trade has daily chart is giving a sell and 4hrs chart saying we should buy..

And has for EURNZD i want to clearify for me, if daily close above the middle band on daily chart, then on 4hr chart it has to close above the upper band,if this statement is true then EURNZD did close back inside the band.

i just want you to explain me where i got it wrong..you own the strategy am just trying to understand it.

From the chart you would see there was already strong short setup- bearish candle outside upper band. And so I missed the entry because of I was short on AUDJPY, NZDJPY. I closed them and have to join the AUDCAD. AUDCAD is based on daily middle band and 4hr lower band
EURNZD was also based on daily middle band and 4hr upper band . If you still have difficulty with it, go to the earlier post when I started

Am not using only one strategy here as I have said in the past. The Red mark candle signal on the AUDCAD was based on one strategy. Using the daily middle band and 4hr lower band is another strategy to follow up and join the movement

i don't understand you, are you saying we are going to ignore the bullish candle that formed outside the lower band on 4hr ? for AUDCAD.. BECAUSE 4hr chart is saying buy while daily is saying sell...

so what you are saying for EURNZD is that the last candle that determine the close on the day on 4hrs does not necessarily have to close outside the band if the daily has close below/above the middle band on daily band.the most important thing is that we have a candle that close outside the band before the end of the day on 4hrs.

I wish to say again that if you're using the daily middle band and lower/upper band, the longer timeframes candle should be used for stop level. If the level is too big for your account, you can skip it

What I mean is that for AUDCAD short now, am using the high price of the daily for stop loss, and not 4hr candle high
