Hello traders, I have been using this strategy along with certain filters and it gives a fair profit. According to the original rules, do we use a pending order above/below the high/low of the signal candle or do we just enter using a market order.....

I can understand what you mean, that it could be good having pending orders for some of the trades, but
the strategy is not born with using pending orders.

Your USDJPY was right on - as so many other charts of yours, Fillipo1.
Hope it will go more our way.
I should maybe use this one to let it go south and north, and learn to leave it peace and listen to what the name of the thread sounds like -

That sounds like letting it run for month between last candle minus 15 pips and 3 candles our way and longer - at least that is.

It looks like all NZD pairs in U-turn mode.
This is typically the reason I never put pending stop-loss orders but pending inverse stop orders on the same entry levels where I would have placed common stop-loss. The risk is the same but doing so I don’t throw my hard-earned money away to my dear broker. I intend to be the milking man here!
And only on those stop orders will I put a relatively tight stop-loss of about 40 pips in case of bear/bull trap.

hey guys, i am posting profits using auto trades on the dashboard. i am only going for 10 pips. sometimes it takes a day or two to hit the profit. some may say it is not worth the wait. i dont know. it is a personal thing each trader needs to decide on. this is definitely a strategy that requires patience!!

if you want to try it out, use the AUTO trade yellow box at the bottom to set your lot size, TP and SL. these values will be used on all your auto trades. i also only set the trade in the direction of the green/red arrows AND only if most or all of the arrow directions match up.

also, dont forget that you have to put the dash on the time frame you want to trade on. i have been using the day, as per this thread strategy.

sorry, i have not finished programming all the buttons yet, but this is a busy time for me!

p.s. the .12 and .14 lot trades were the ones taken using the auto trader. please use in demo account first!!!! set it to a lower timeframe ONLY so you can see how it works "faster" so you can see it entering trades faster and not wait for the day signal to test it out.

Hello

Thanks for this strategy, I started following this thread on Friday 30/11/2018 and followed it immediately. I placed two trades (Short on GBP/JPY and GBP/USD) on a demo account that day as I am still trying to get a strategy that I will use to trade my live account. I just closed on my take profit on Tuesday 04/12/2018. I've just attached a screenshot.

Thanks so much for sharing this strategy.
It's so simple and very effective too.

i think i will integrate RSI as a filter to insure the trade is taken on the correct side of the wave, so i dont get into the trade before the retrace, but after the retrace instead.

is anybody else having success using the dash?

hi traders, i'm posting another pic of profits taken using the dashboard. although you must be very patient and endure some draw down, these trades are hitting their profit of 10 pips. to eliminate the draw down, i will try to incorporate rsi to make sure the trade is only valid on the "correct" side of the wave. i have been very busy and then i got sick so i felt like crap! sorry....

my suggestion to new users.....place the dash on any 5 minute chart in which you have used the ##black template to make the background black. look for any "SM" signal. open another chart for that pair, again on the 5 minute TF. watch what the candles do and what the dash shows you. the dash IS ONLY A TOOL to help you monitor more charts easier.

the SM signal follows the rules for this thread. i say watch it on a 5 minute chart ONLY so you can watch/learn the signals "faster". when you are ready, use this dash on daily time frame, as per the instructions of this thread. also, only use it on a demo until you are sure it works as you anticipate. i am still using it on my demo account until i get the "draw down" down.

also, i only open certain trades when the red/green arrows align and i only go "with" the trend.

Not because of trading strategy, but just because it fits the best for me, I do close all trades down on fridays.
I do not trade on mondays. Tokyo open is Sunday evening in the North Atlantic, where I live.
