TMS is working sometimes and sometimes not working. You don’t need to practice. Cheers.

Here is another little example. Jumping in to quickly is due to psychology...your brain is telling itself that opportunities are very scarce which causes impulse decisions to be made.

The truth is that there are countless amounts of opportunities especially if you decide to wait for for the right setup and in the end taking a nap and missing out on an A+ setup with lots of earnings.

After having such experience for example...the brain decides to do things differently to not experience the loss of opportunity by impulsively entering a trade that goes against his/her trading decision...its a very bad habit to have and many many traders go through this!

Definetly man. My biggest enemy is not the market nor the broker. its me. am working on this psychology aspects of my trading. TMS DOES work. And practice does make perfect. I think in time my eyes and mind will be trained enough to be able to see this details you point out. And wait for setups to happen not try to guesa ahead of them thanks for comment
Undoubtedly trading is close to 90% mental - I have been trading for around 7 years now and I know what to do to make money, but how often do I do it? For a while I have been studying the psychology of trading which is at least as important as any strategy. Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas is a great book that I have read and digested a couple of times now. As you so rightly say plan your trade and trade your plan.

The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?
It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

I can take you to water but I can't make you drink... follow the simple entry & exit rules. Forget other indicators. I went down those roads so you wouldn't have too...

It is about training your brain to recognize the correct setup's with TDI, stoch.
1 - Find crossover with TDI
2 - Study the chart with all indicators on.
3 - Strip all indicators from chart and study chart again.
4 - Burn the reason's why TDI crossover it into your brain with post#647
Repeat step 1, 2, 3, 4
Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why? Read above... (Step 1, 2, 3, 4)

By doing it that way the entry / exit rules become simple. That is way BigE could do this:

I just glance at the TDI for set ups when the new candle opens...
If I see a set up... green just crossing red I'll take the trade, turn off the pc and go to bed.

You may or may not know the "pros and cons" and I don't really care.

You gave bad advice with " You don’t need to practice.".
Have you taken into consideration that other members (new, old, casual readers) might not know the "pros and cons"? That trading only TDI crossover to crossover will take any trader to margin call real fast.

Post 92,465 is only a attempt to ratify a misleading post.

Hi,

I'm following the thread since three weeks now, i traded it in demo and i think that this strategy could work for me. I'm writing down every trade i take and i adapt the strategy to my personality.

Today I took two trades which are following the rules but they are turning against me, maybe my interpretation of PA was not correct... can somebody help me?

Does anyone else have an issue loading the template onto other charts ? Whenever I try to load a saved template to a different pair for example AUDUSD MT4 crashes.

Anyone know what the cause of this would be ?

This is a really good system been trying for 2 weeks, my only problem is pulling out of the trade too early
I'm checking this setup and looks easier than many other setups. So I just wanted to make sure... this really works the same way for all these years? Or everyone is making changes to the setup that was created by Big E?

WORKS for me!
A tip for all. Look at the tdi and nothing else before deciding to take a trade. Look in the history and look at the angle of all the tdi crosses and then look at the candles directly after. You can put a correlation together between the tdi angles and candle sizes to help determine a good trade. Then after that look at stochs...support/resistance levels. You have to know the proper angle to enter the trade before anything else.

Speaking of that.....I was wondering if anyone could make the same TDI indicator with a setting possibly determining a good TDI angle...for example....Green tdi line means good angle...blue above average...yellow average...and red bad angle???????????? any coders that could make that possible??????????

It works great on Daily. The only problem would be is you are missing out on more trades from the swing highs and swing lows on the 4h and 1h charts.
