I think scoop up occurs when 10ema tries to 'scoop' the candle up. (Correct me if im wrong)
Of course scoop up will happen with conditions that indicate the price will reverse. Like a double bottom. But in this case I took this trade because higher tf pinbar and the price did bounce from RN.
Nice entry after touch of 10 for +10.

One for +15 (took it simultaneously as the GBPCHF trade) and the other BE.

Trade before news, a bit dangerous but I put the SL to BE after 4 pips. Nice 15 pips.

Here are my trades today
The first trade based on the bounce from 35/50 and DP.
The second trade based on the bounce from 35/50 and DP. And there is confluence between 35/50 with h1 35sma. It looks like the price might go higher because there was a gap yesterday.
+15 and +18

and you were right...the gap got closed. That trade would have been worth more than 90 pips

Me personally Im struggling a lot the last couple of weeks...I cant really find a solution to make green pips again.
This was my trade from today EA M15 35MA touch (-13 pips). The angle was nice and steep, HTF trend confluence...would really appreciate some input here.

try it again, and again, and again...dont give up when you still see its worth.
it can take months, but realistic it will take a couple of years to get constant profitable;-)

Thanks birdland, I definitely won't give up on this...have seen it working out for others so why shouldn't it work out for me (and others) as well.
I think that the Brexit negotiations right now are influencing a lot the British Pound pairs, as to the extend that we were trading hand signals ("thumbs up" etc.)...crazy.

For the entry of a touch trade, it has no problem, just a little bit lower (you could have better price).

Several things against your trade:

1. it was a double bottom reversal
2. the entry bar was a big/strong bar, better waiting market to show her hand
3. after your entry, price staying between your open price and SL and above all MAs for 6-7 bars , it told you your entry is not good, it is time to exit with minimum loss, normally touch trades will rebound from MA within 1-2 bars. Suppose you entered a better price, it would be a even trade.

My 1st trade here.

EJ EMA50 bounce.

Edit: Trailing stop locking in 22 pips.
Edit: target DR1, but closed manually for +46pips at cob of 18:15 around DR1.

You just need to go to section where you can see closed trades in MT4 and then just drag and drop them onto chart area
