GDP numbers are out soon. USD/CAD moving up before the release, weak numbers expected? Perhaps we get a better GDP number, more room for USD/CAD to move down.

Good GDP number out, if we can't sink through the 100 and 200 hour MAs in a couple of hours then the 'market' is going to take this higher.

Downtrend line still surprisingly intact, expecting this to be taken out within the next 24h if the bears are sleeping in for this one.

Crude oil is making lower lows...if it breaks the support at 66.00 then we can see CAD going much higher.

The USDCAD is above immediate resistance. 1.3225 is a good short entry level if reached.

I'm starting to notice USD/CAD is breaking free of its sideways pattern and moving up:

Starting to build shorts, USDX is high, this is strong zone, and CAD is from fundamental point of view looking good.

The USDCAD keeps rising steadely above the 1.3100 level and it may reach the 1.3200 level where it may find a resistance as it did in the past. To the downside, the 1.3100 level may act as support.

There is exactly double bottom on h4 ( cannot say as bottom). If we calculate the height of it....around 90 pips....so if today's CAD data is -ve we can go to 1.3250.
Ofcourse i may be wrong

The USDCAD drops below the 1.3100 level, but it could leave a false breakdown below that level to go back up to its bullish trend in the short-term. If it continues falling, the 1.3000 level may act as support.

I would like to short audcad instead of ucad...around .9460 by keeping 40 pips stop loss as audcad has formed a bearish pinbar....

Came within about 10 pips if SL now heading back down. If it heads further down I'm expecting a break below 1.305 support level
