so the property market clearance is sub 50% now.

The first home buyers are now in Negative equity.. which means they paid more for what the house is now worth.
In Australia you cant just walk away from the debt like in other countries .. the debt follows you ..`

At this stage it isn't too bad but another 10-20% and we have some nervous banks

At this stage the banks cant do much on rates because it would force more into delinquency

From a bi election update it looks like we have a hung parliament ..

So the govt has been dragged to the left again ...

The PM reckons its workable .. Yes but for who?

Australia is littered with hopeless politicians ...

I think that is correct, I dont see them letting this come down without taking all that money at the top first.

Looks like we will have another crack at that strong support level .7040-60 again.

Fundamentals point south but we are in the hands of the US dollars momentum.

If you look around the globe there isn't much else to put your money into but the US.

We need to see some good buying this week to overcome the descending weekly trend line .

Australia hasn't had a recession since 1991 and there are generations who haven't experienced a downturn.

I remember the last one and it just about sent Westpac bank under (back then Westpac was Australia's largest bank.)

I'm a fundamentalist but I respect the technicals. You need to have a foot in each camp.

price now 0.7160 I think its time for a nice drop as a correction wave
