It seems to be forming a base around .7040/50 zone and shorts took profit
I think the US dollar will continue its trend higher so patience is the key before we break through 70 cents

Sound thinking but at mo usdx seems to be in retreat mode with dtop in place on 4 hr so am long at mo

Been awhile since i last posted.

Corrective uptrend in play currently. Levels i will be watching are .7140, .7160, .7200.

Bearish divergence will have to appear before executing any shorts. Currently in long trades until this corrective up move is over. If it goes above .7200 and stays above, it is likely the bottom is in place at .7040.

Back to the support zone as equities turned nasty .

If the equity markets continue the rout then the flight to safety prevails and we will soon see an acceleration to the downside.

At the moment headlines are calling it "Armageddon" ..

Agree, love these fast moving triggers in the markets. More movement, more $$$ to be made

Trying to short the Aussie got me a bit burned... as the MACD and RSI seemed to point in one direction on the 1m, 15m, 1 hr and 4 hr charts, at around 2:57 pm est, still hoping to see that I see the Aussie go down despite the lower DOW and stocks falling in the states. Limit is set at .70973. I honestly believe that it was a mistake to have bought at .71021 earlier today and at a pip loss between 25-27 pips, fluctuation, I am not sure if I will take the profit. I am going to ride this one and chalk it to the game as I have been doing pretty good so far. Lesson: In a volatile environment, with countertrending happening, think twice before pulling the trigger.
Outlook is bullish given the consolidation at the lows. Price has to over come current resistance at 0.7130. Plan buying above 0.7150 towards 0.7240 going into next week.
Where are all my usual home boys? Hahaha, i miss having ArslanHyder around. HAHAHA

Kinda flat ATM, a break of .7130 should trigger another leap upwards towards .7170 - .7200.
