Yes but my point was that i donīt have the time to watch a dozens of different charts not moving each day to make the pips needed. And as long as nobody is able to make a reliable EA out of the TMS strategy, these good results posted here are simply a matter of random cherry picking trades here and there. I really respect anyone able to make constant good results like that, donīt get me wrong again. If it works for you, great. But i highly doubt this is more "simple" than anything else and a lot more people woult be for sure better running such EA than manually trying to find only the high probability trades signaled by the cross of two lagging moving averages.

I have some EA running since May 2016 doing about a about 2.7% average per month with drawdown of 7%. However it is also no guarantee to get this account wiped out at some point. But 2 years of live trading with constant profitable results with a drawdown under 10% already proofs to me something the system is doing right here.

Now a 3% monthly return in my case compared to some of the more risky strategies this EA makes use of, like doing recovery trades with increased position sizes is just something i donīt want to run on a 500k account for e.g. There is a good risk of some higher drawdown directly once you start. If the drawdown first happens after you doubled your account e.g made a 100% return you can get your initial investment paid out by the account and keep letting it run at 0% risk. If it keeps trading profitable and making constant returns, good. If not, no drama because you have nothing to lose anymore.

Not changing any uniform. I talked to Divergence as i could not find a topic that he is running where the strategy he used to trade the emini nastaq is explained in detail.

As long as everyone is going offtopic here each day and posts something nothing to do with the TMS, why should i keep care about? Get some moderators here locking the topic down for new replies and refer new people to read post#1, attach a download link to Erics posts about the strategy as a PDF right under that first post. Boom, no problem anymore. So the forum owners probably are more interested in keeping the traffic floating in from this topic instead of helping new members to avoid getting scammed by joining the discussion.

To add to that, unless it is automated, I can't imagine strategies where one has to wait for a setup be practical. I would work around a strategy whereby you look at the charts once, or during the same fixed interval of time each day or each week. I think a lot of us got into trading in order to have more free time since the goal would be to not do a 9 to 5 so trade the market, don't let the market trade you.
A lot of people here seem to do "Live for trading" not "Trade for a live".

- Google for answers to your question. That will ensure you get a clear broader understanding, not the misinterpretation by members in this thread.
- Study, practise some more.
- Start on a small micro live account with small leverage, lot size.
- Build that small account up by adding $0.01 for every $100 made.
- Reduce lot size by $0.01 for $100 lost.

No offense, but I assume it must be very hard trying to make a living trading this method in a cent account.

Then you have the answer already on your charts. Just develop a portfolio where 100% per year profit on a 50K+ account using several EA's is your solution. Its starring you in the face. All you need is to get to 10% per Month, your'e already 1/3 of the way there.

Rick, i canīt find any other reliable EAs for the moment worse trying out on a new account to built out such portfolio. Even a EA doing a 3% monthly on average not going beyond a 25-30% drawdown for a several years of live trading results is rare to find. If you know some EAīs or you say your own developed pieces are stable for putting on a real money account (even if they need some manually monitoring in certain market conditions) let me know.

At my broker GBE (former Sensus Capital Markets) it means core spread.(+ commissions)

You have to think yearly returns with EA's and aim to run well designed models that keep drawn down under 10%. Its all in the setup. Here's an example of one I am running at present.
Bollinger Bands set to 40 /2. Take a Sell when it hits the Upper band or a Buy at the lower ban d then open a new trade at each visit So you would create a basket of 5 trades max. on a good trend but they are all against the trend. Each trade is slightly larger than the previous trade and drawn down now would be around $1K.
Close trades when the average price hits even plus add 0.5ADR100 pips or around 50 pips for the EURCAD. So on this pair, this will return you around 28% per year.
Now the magic starts. Its also profitable on 15 other pairs so run the lot on one account giving you 15 pairs being traded on the same account.
The combined return gives me around 130% per year from that account with a max. drawn down at $2700 on a 10K account from my latest review. All CHF pairs shows the best returns but I don't risk trading many of them. Its the harvesting of pips that makes you the money.

I could list 10 more EA strategy’s that do more than 25% a year. You need to be creative and built them yourself or pay for the built.
Trading with EA’s hasn’t much to do with price action but rather taking signals from indicators or just random price movements that shows profitability over a year. Another favourite of mind is one that trades inside bar breaks on the day chart. It’s profitable on DAX, US30, HK100 and the Chinese index.

Funny reading that and compare it to past post's over the years.
We humans code that EA which mean we are smarter than a few line's code. Why can't we succeed taking signals from TDI crossover?

The biggest challenge I have when trading this method is to determine S/R levels; because whenever I look left for S/R I always find one. How do you guys determine which S/R levels are likely to hold and which aren't?

I use the Chikou Span to locate strong levels.

You canīt. I would say trade AWAY from any S/R level you can spot at a first glance for the time frame you plan and execute the trade on. If this is a very short time frame i would say S/R is quiet meaningless at all right? So you maybe want to draw in only the main important support and resistance level on the next higher time frame where price respected such level. However i have also a lot of problems with this, so donīt take my words too seriously, i am a beginner.

Now if you get some trade signal indicate to you to BUY or SELL right INTO such level, do not take such trade.
