This week I decided to close all my trades and have a week end flat and relaxed. I had open GA short and EG long and considering that final news about Brexit can come out at any moment I preferred to stay out and decide what to do after the fact. Next week the European Council meeting on Brexit is a key event for GBP. Closed AU long too because it wasn't moving, all in all a very profitable week. A good weekend for everyone, Bubincka P.S. In hindsight I closed all trades too early, GA for sure, because few minutes later it...

Well done bubincka.

It’s always good to close as a winner but being said GBPAUD bearish pullback will dip to price 1.84230 low before uptrend starts.

Happy weekend.
Ron.

Hi Ron!

Agree with you, but as said before I don't want to have open position on GBP.

Happy weekend to you,

Have an awesome weekend everyone. I had a nice week with my bear traps that I had lying beneath the US30, Nikkei, NQ, US30, SP 500, and my Gold longs went green. I was going to kick back and relax this weekend, however now I'm going to spend it learning how to read a chart and trade for myself. lol
Nah! I think it will be !

I wouldn't want to trade the EG right now with Brexit. Its not one that I trade with anyways. Nonetheless keep an eye on EU on Monday morning as these options are expiring at 10 am NYT.

Hi Davit, Thanks for sharing this great system. I was wondering about the coming up week. Would you be avoiding eur and gbp pairs or still be trading them?
Thank!

Its plainly obvious that any trading on GBP pairs is risky at the moment, there is brexit news pending and volatility is to be expected. Whether or not you choose to trade it- all depends on your risk tolerances. Personally - i can see alot of bearish signals on GBP pairs, however i dont think im going to trade them as i dont like the risk. However- i am looking at many EUR pairs - these should not be as voltile as GBP pairs - chart history proves that.

This week im looking for bullish signals on A and N, im also looking for bearish signals on E. I dont have any clear indicators on other currencies - does anyone else have any insights into strength or weaknesses next week?

Possible double bottom on the GBPCAD daily, but on weekly looks like it hasn't broken the neckline. Hmmm decisions.

Daily XAUUSD has broken out of and closed above narrowing wedge, although it went quite high above a possible second resistance level. The day after it then closed lower, I guess it depends where you draw that support/resistance line. If you put it at 1216 then price stayed above that. If you put it at 1219, then price closed back below it. The montly 10 20 ema are very high on the XAUUSD so price may have a little extra confluence there to go up.

USDCAD 1.29800 level that could be an opporutinty go go long on the daily if it forms a pinbar. There was a descending channel that got broken to the high side, I wonder if it will retest that and go up or will itjust keep gooing down and the current break of that channel was a false break. Time will tell.

I suggest you go over calendar events every red event and that should reveal to you what to do.In my old thread I kicked lot of guys out because they wanted shortcuts make money and do no work. That made me unpopular for sure but truth is truth.

Merka, sadly no for two reasons, got too much money tied up in Crypto coins and the market is down. Secondly, I was in a bad slip and fall seeing Drs. 3-4 times a week for the past several months doesn't allow me to sit and watch the screen much and focus. If you need any books to further study PM me I may have it. One can never have enough learning everything depends upon just how far you want to get into it, however Davit's method is the best I've seen. Personally I use Gartley with WW in addition to Davits method. Quite often the markets follow geometric patterns practically to the tic.

I’m very amateurish on understanding the fundamentals and by just looking at red events and avoiding them For me is hard.

I only understand the power of pivots, however what I found is I find it extremely hard to hold on postions for a long time, however it’s worked in my favour pocketing the profits early see I only trade R61+ and I only trade when TDI is in extremes and only exit when TDI crosses over in the extremes again.

I have profit from shorting R100 and exiting at R61 but I’m happy with that because I don’t understand the fundamentals and with markets being so erratic I like to bank my profits quick before waiving them back.

i have a long way to go but I made 17% already this month on £1,000 live account. I hope the success continues not as much financially but more the knowledge and mental side of trading.

What you’re doing is essentially taking profits off swing failures. Not an uncommon strategy. In time you may grow more comfortable with letting profits run. Or as your equity grows, scale in larger positions.

The goal is to extract profits on a regular basis. Trading is like playing baseball. A lot of people want to hit home runs on every trade. Most just strike out. Loading the bases, and bringing them in one by one wins the game.
Trade with confidence, trade without fear.

You got the whole calendar events wrong.Purpose of being aware of them is NOT necessarily avoid trading them it is being in sink with the market and ANTICIPATE reactions and take advantage opportunities it creates.
why don't you post your analyses of calendar events and lets go over them.Don't worry I am not here to "get" you but help you even though such services charge shitload of money

{quote} Hi groper, I programmed this trade manager EA and put in on the clipboard in the original Davit's thread, if you search there you'll find an explanation of all input params- Apart from the name I gave in honor of Davit, it has nothing to do with Davit himself that manages its trades masterfully and manually. I attach here the last release. Best regards, Bubincka {file}
