AJ retest of 61S look left There are entire trading systems which waits for retest then buy/sell.I don't follow such systems but intuitively I incorporated the concept of buying dips and selling rallies {image} {image}

Looks like NJ was also retesting at 61S[attach]

I wanted to be lucky to have entered from the beginning.
unfortunately, most of the time, we only know when the trade is closed
Who knows, we ride down the hill on this NC.

Hi guys,

Analysis on AUDUSD Price Action & Pivots.

Long AUDUSD at price 0.71100 slightly above WP at the moment and target R38 first target and R61 which is the second target. When price reach R61, there will be resistance area. Watch the resistance for further break up or bounce back down.
Move your profits to R38 and if it breaks up then move your profits to R61, and if it bounce back down watch price action and probably can do a short at R61 price 0.72302.

Cheers and nitez!
Happy trading.

Ron.

Oh, you think drawdown is your ally. But you merely adopted the drawdown; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the profits until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but PART OF TRADING! Almost all of my trades which were in major drawdown are now in high profits. 1.2k pips on UJ, 600 pips on UC, 600 on AC, 550 on EN and 2.4k pips on EG. The best part of this system is not the pivot, it's the money management and patience factor. Stay safe, Stay green.

Yes, money management is most important, and patience, which I am still learning. My NC was in DD of almost 2k pips, but this morning I closed my trades with 1.2k pips profit. The DD did not affect my margin, I was able to still take some other trades.

I am expecting GC is going down. The TDI market base line is on top and volatility band is narrowing.

I am waiting the red members opinions.

so many people keep saying don't go near GBP before brexit negotiations (and TBH Davit avoids them except rare occasions (their range can be catastrophic if your on the wrong side of the trade))
please it's in the thread,
have a look
I will get my head around this, but always can be wrong

Hi Armaros,

As you know that 17th October which is next week will be the final talk with the EU for GBP Brexit, before the date, we will be expecting ranging sideways for all GBP pairs.

At the current moment, what we see now is that GBPUSD, GBPCAD, GBPJPY and GBPNZD will be expecting a bearish pullback before trend resumes to the upside. Overall it’s still a strong upside. Bullish trendline still intact unless it’s broken but all these will be next week to know the directions. What you can do is if you want to short GBPCAD yes you may but secured it once in profits and closed, do not trade GBP pairs till next week unless you know your PA well.

Hope that will help you to decide your trade.

Enjoy your weekend.
Cheers.
Ron.

I think you have wrote to me. I know and I have read Davit's warning and that's why I use close SL. But I think it is worth a try.

Hi groper,

I programmed this trade manager EA and put in on the clipboard in the original Davit's thread, if you search there you'll find an explanation of all input params-
Apart from the name I gave in honor of Davit, it has nothing to do with Davit himself that manages its trades masterfully and manually.

I attach here the last release.

Best regards,
Bubincka

Your trade manager. Very good. The only increase is the ability to modify the position 0.01--0.05. Very good.

Hi groper and other fellow traders, here's you can find a short explanation on Trade Manager params (most of them are self-explanatory):

1) https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...4#post11210694
2) https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...5#post11220945

some updates since that version:
- fractionToBeClosed no longer used, if flagPartialClosing = true, then the trade in the position with the highest DD will be closed.

new params to trail (checkTrail & flagComment must be true to activate trailing)

input bool checkTrail = true;
input double _Y_PercentLockIn = 0.7;
input double _Z_PercentStartLockIn = 2.2;
input double _X_PercentProfitToAdd = 1.0; // unique TP, "UTP" in upper left corner, that you have to input manually via F7 changes with the number of open trades. It's roughly calculated to give you a TP % equal to your equity SL. Using this param you can increase this TP level in percentage points.

Best regards to all and green pips!
Bubincka

{quote} Here are my levels of interest. I like trading based on 3 types of environments: Multiple week exhaustion environment, New immediate trend environment, and retracement exhaustion environment. My entries are always at support levels turned resistance or resistance levels turned support so I can get a bounce away from the level and continue the new immediate trend and I look for these levels to line up with pivots if possible. I only sell above the WPP and I only buy below the WPP: Potential setups for me next week. All I really need is 1...

This week I decided to close all my trades and have a week end flat and relaxed.

I had open GA short and EG long and considering that final news about Brexit can come out at any moment I preferred to stay out and decide what to do after the fact. Next week the European Council meeting on Brexit is a key event for GBP.
Closed AU long too because it wasn't moving, all in all a very profitable week.

A good weekend for everyone,
Bubincka

P.S.
In hindsight I closed all trades too early, GA for sure, because few minutes later it went down like a stone in water.
