This morning I was looking at NJ to long it above WS61, considering the triple bottom on D1 and the very low level it is trading atm, then I was cheated by thoughts like the fact that yesterday the market went down suddenly and consequently there could have been a flight to safe-haven currencies like JPY and CHF.

Instead PA went up all day and now is poised to gain more.
Sometimes I overthink instead of take action and other times a I'm too hasty and go into a trade without analyzing too much... find the balance between these two opposite behaviors is one of the key, at least for me.

As already posted by Master Davit UJ is becoming interesting.

Best regards,
Bubincka

Oh, you think drawdown is your ally. But you merely adopted the drawdown; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the profits until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but PART OF TRADING!

Almost all of my trades which were in major drawdown are now in high profits. 1.2k pips on UJ, 600 pips on UC, 600 on AC, 550 on EN and 2.4k pips on EG. The best part of this system is not the pivot, it's the money management and patience factor.

Stay safe, Stay green.

EA last nights entry...Closed partials on AC and NC. In my opinion looks like these pairs want to form a cup and complete pattern like UC did. UC stalling waiting on crosses to catch up. Will hold and manage a few AC, NC longs a bit further see if closes gap to tp.

No GBP pairs for me at all. It is the only pair that is not linked to a global Commodity, it is susceptible to wilder moves and more likely to be driven by Market Sentiment. Plus it is known to make fake moves especially before LO. I am in business to earn a living not to battle with this currency and its pairs especially when I can do well with less bitchy pairs.

A bit dramatic for me but I agree with you. Think of DD this way...once you place a trade you are already on DD...

Trade manager closed my EN short not far from TP.
EUR is gaining some steam and this time I'm happy with it, considering levels I'll reload short if it goes back to WR38.

Some thoughts:

usd/cad, usd/chf

- stop losses were hit + buy stops are triggered = a lot of liquidity on the table now.
Institutional traders are ready to sell the shit out of usd.

Yep, I loaded up some more positions even in drawdown. Gotta thank big man Davit for showing me how to be confident in my trades as well as Mark Douglas. I posted a few pages back to watch out for price to break 1.3 for Smart Money taking out stops. That's when I added more positions.

A lot of traders look at 1.3 as a historical price and rightly so. But when something is TOO obvious, I know almost certainly what's happening. Price broke 1.3, so many retail traders took it as a sign that going long is the right move. Institutional traders know this and love taking out stops.

Few bad weeks brother. Really tight up at work. Missed a lot of good trades. Got hard stopped yesterday on C pairs. Now I am thinking ether I am late for a Canadian Bull party or it’s just a long waited price correction. Overall nothing special.

It happens.I have been in your shoes numerous times. Look for dip on AC NC and go long. There is lot more on upside. Anyway stay away from pairs you don't understand well. Notice I rarely trade GC I can but don't because I don't follow it hence my grasp of it is poor.Trade what you know best.
cheers

AJ retest of 61S look left
There are entire trading systems which waits for retest then buy/sell.I don't follow such systems but intuitively I incorporated the concept of buying dips and selling rallies

Thanks . Always wise. Will regroup and reload next week. I still don’t think that Canadian rallies are over yet. September through December usually messy like this. Then it’s all settles down. It takes way more to throw me off now. I am prepared and educated! Good luck to you my friend.

Try posting your reasoning behind your trades.

When I ran into some losses I did not understand, I posted them and asked Ron, Neil and others questions about the trades and also trades that they took so I can learn and form a better trading plan. For example after posting my losses 2 months ago I learned valuable things from this thread:

{quote} Thats great but I closed GA early missed alot of the move with small profit and I left GJ open and GJ went down. I do not understand why GJ which was the the one I decided to leave open went down. Not the best week for me lol. breakeven on AUDNZD and loss on GJ. I wish took EG and stayed GA instead

Also yesterday I posted about how I missed an opportunity on EN long and the reason why I missed it and because of that post I learned something new to help me decide which pivot level I want to trade(i use fibs now to decide). So if you can please post reasons for trades taken guys
