GBPUSD H4 Tokyo session,

there is no strong price momentum hence that TDI Green bounce off Red is not that great and the H4 closed an Inside Bar at BRN 1.3200.

my trade trailing stop moved to below the previous H4 bar low.

emmanuel7788 -- This has become your own personal thread. No one else can get a post in (let alone a response) because it gets buried in all your charts. And it's killing the thread. How about being a bit more selective about what you post -- e.g. only share a chart if it is truly instructive.

I mean, I find that I'm less and less interested in visiting this thread because I know all I'll find is more and more charts from you. And it's getting boring.

Contribute posts here regularly, and you will influence the threads direction.
Otherwise those that do post will decide the direction for you.

I've tried to -- but good luck trying to find them. Within an hour of posting mine gets buried 5 pages back.

This is a good thread. I like it. I've learned a lot -- both from the questions and responses. I get tired looking at my own charts. Do I also have to look at all of emmanuel7788's?

I'm not offended by Emmanuel's posts, but if you are, just use the ignore function.

Aside from that, restart posting here regularly, otherwise you are bound to have others set the threads direction for you.

GBPUSD Oct 11 H4 trade closed. Hit my final TP 75pips...

Now if the current H4 closes with lower low + lower close, then the TDI will point down. Whether it crosses Red will depends...

Trading H4 is very boring. I only need to focus my time looking for the best setups. Trade Management is done by THV CaveManager EA. Trading must not be exciting or else you tend to be overconfident and prone to make mistakes.

well, some like my posts, in fact these some look forward to my posts.
while some others don't like my post. these some have their own options.

I'm not offended. And I don't want to ignore Emmanuel's posts because sometimes they are helpful. And he certainly deserves credit for helping to keep this thread going.

But there is such a thing as excess, and I think all his charts are a distraction and may actually discourage more interesting conversations.

But, if this is a thread about posting pictures then I've seen enough. I understand the rules of TMS well enough to keep practicing and to adapt the concepts to algorithmic trading. There is no more value here for me looking at, basically, random pictures. And though I would like to add value, it's next to impossible. This isn't my first rodeo -- but you learn this is sort of how it goes with most threads. At first there is something attractive that draws you in, but then certain personalities can't help but suck up all the air.

I appreciate all that I've learned. Adios...

Emmanuel Sir, i have looked you up and have seen y'r with this tread for many years.
I like your contributions a lot. Thank you.

I am writing a dashboard where the trades are taken when x% of the H4 or other TF is passed.
It takes the minimum lotsize.
From the dashboard you can open subscreens for aditional trades and it has an overall Target.
When that Target i reached, it closes all trades.
Look at the program if you want to get an idee.
For the system you need more programs fi to download the FF agenda.

Until now i could not see much benefits over trading H4 in line with the Daily or Weekly Chart. If i am trading the H4 i expect to book in a 40 Pips on average and maybe a 80 Pips on a perfect run before it will reverse anyways. No matter what the Daily or Weekly Chart "trend" is overall.

However i will move back to M15-H1 charts. Over the last 2-3 weeks tested the H4 i could not see where H4 would would save me any time or beeing less stress full. You have to set a larger stop loss but the average pips you maybe gain on H4 is not a big difference compared to open a few more trades on M15-H1 charts even if this means you have to deal with MORE signals you get.

I mean just look at the backtest you provided your self... speaks for it self. Where is H4 or even Daily far more accurate here? You have less signals to pick, thats all but for the signals i took so far on the H4 live they were not giving any more confidence in sum.

I was actually kinda thinking this yesterday. I made a statement/question about a week ago, and i asked a few questions yesterday regarding if people actively traded GBPUSD and EURUSD with this system, and i got no answer. Instead there was a shitton of random charts posted. I dont believe my question was stupid or noobish, so i sort of expected an answer.. :-(

I am personally testing the system on the 4h period atm, and i agree with you regarding your comment about not seeing benefits trading it in line with daily or W1 chart. I dont personally feel like it makes a difference looking at higher timefra trends. I go basicly by S/R marked on the 4H, and i sit on my hands in between and waits for signals and change in PA around those levels. So far i like it very much, but i am also the kind of person who dosent wanna be sitting in front of the charts 6-7 hours a day as i feel like you need to on lower timeframes - im probably wrong tho.
Trading the 4H timeframe ive noticed that i like AUD and CAD pairs alot, as they are very smooth and more "predictable" than for example EURUSD and GBPUSD. Much fewer SL hunting spikes etc.
My samle size is relatively small tho, so i wont make any conclusions yet - above is just thoughts that ive had throughout the process.
