I was getting a little worried you may have given up trading because your'e been too quiet for a few days. I moved from trading manually with a couple of strategy's to trading a portfolio of EA's to earn my wage. That portfolio turns over more than 2000 pips a week profit without ever having to care about news, EMA's, TDI's or other factors. I now don't need to be right to make a wage, I can also be wrong and still make my wage. I probably have around 50 - 70 trades opened at any one time and many are carried through the weekend. Lets look at USDCAD. I have 9 trades opened in a Reversal EA, 4 opened in a Breakout Strategy, 7 opened in a Ranging strategy at present. One EA is presently hedging another EA but honestly its hard to keep up with all action.
My point is you need to be right to make money, I don't.

Trading on the M5 chart is a skill I enjoy during London session, its easy to win 100 pips a night if the trends are running like last night. On other nights you won't make a cent.

Don't be so sure of yourself Chenzo. AU is going to about 0.724316 then into consolidation before heading back up. Take what little profit you have made before it is to late.

I have to say... I didn't think I would like a comment of yours but this one might have done it.

I respect it. Whatever makes you money. I never look down on someone's success. I have made it so I'm hopeful for others who are trying. If you're making money and pips trading EAs then keep on keeping on.

Is there a way to see at what exact time/price the TDI green/red cross hapened in the past?

Example H4 chart.

I am not sure here at what point it did. For me visually it could first clearly see TDI green/red crossed at the second blue candle. As a result, in this case the entry according to BigE´s rules would be the opening of the third blue candle´s open price right?

If it crossed within the first blue candle. My entry would have been to late (which it it looks like it was already by what i see now).

Putting a vertical line on the TDI doesn´t help here. So there might be a better way.

Secondly, if trading the H4 what i was reading from BigE´s posts he took entries right on H4. So not looking at the smaller TF like H1 to find a TDI Cross entry more earlier right? I mean it makes sense or why do people actually enter on another TF they are not looking on regarding SL/TP levels.

Same with M15/H1, i don´t realy understand why you enter your trades on M15 instead of simply put them on H1 and also WAIT for H1 to cross.

Lets assume i enter the H4 trade on H1 which also gave a TDI cross to go long at this pair just a few candles earlier.

So H1 here showing a ongoing 8 HA candle´s run. So already a good move according to:

So okay, the H1 Entry on the open of the second blue candle here woud be great. However, like said if trading the H4 i don´t want to look at H1. More like i want to look at the Daily right? So going long in this example on the H4 means looking at H4 and placing trades on H4. So in this example expecting it to move on another 3-8 candles run up....

By the way in this example H4 average candle is about more like 10-20 pips and THAT is the average i can see for nearly all of my H4 charts just scrolling back through the last 14 days. So i guess things changed a lot here. So maybe its possible the strategy just doesn´t work anymore the way BigE described it used to be...

Well Rick, even if you would manage to have a portfolio of EAs booking you in CONSTANTLY a 50 pips instead of 2000 trading 50 lots each trade on EUR/USD for example would generate you a 20k/week. So you would be a millionaire pretty fast even on a small acount compounding that pips for just a few month. So what are you still here for may i ask? I guess that 2000 pips with your portfolio of EA´s is taking each trade at 0.01 lots instead.... Well this is no magic i can do this too..

To be honest you won't be able to learn from Tekkies. That will be a dead end pursuit. He doesn't trade same way as Big E so I see no reason why he hasn't start his own thread. Big E made it clear and Emmanuel has pointed the starting point to newbies so many times. Please don't be lazy. Read and reread and don't complicate issue for yourself. Just follow the simple rules and you will be fine. My little cent

As said the average pip value for the HA candles on H4 i got is not like he said anymore. Its much less.

Also i would like to know if he entered his trades on H4 directly (not switching time frames). Maybe looking at the Daily/Weekly to see if the trend is within the direction of the trade he thinks about entering in. So D1, Weekly = bullish if entering a TDI H4 BUY signal candle.

Or if he did look at the H1 for entries to jump in earlier. Thats what i mean...

So my broker posts new H4 candles for the opening of the london session at 09.00 AM my time just 2 hours after i normally wake up. So i would only have to leave a chart open trading one currency pair for lets say EUR/USD showing a H4, D1, Weekly chart. Thats it, right? If i see a H4 TDI cross signal with the begin of the london session giving me that new H4 candle i would decide to jump in or not by checking the other basics he mentioned like SR, candle sizes, Stoch as confirmation...

So doing it like that, trading just one pair i guess would give me 0-1 high probability TDI setup per week? To be honest, i think its probably not even that. Maybe more like 2-3 good H4 signals / month? How good they must be to make a dime like that ? I would have to take these 3 signals at least by 50 Lots per trade to make sure if 2 of them are losers i still make at least some money to pay the house keeping woman from...

On the AUDCHF which I don't trade anyway but to let you know how it can be done.

I will make it brief.

1. Look at weekly candle. Last week was a reversal candle.
2. On daily we have a bounce trade (Low probability but reversal on weekly is important)
3. On 4hr we are on the 3 candle. Meanwhile, we had signal already on the second candle which open at 0.6982 and 3rd candle open 0.6969 which is still a better price.
Remember, if we enter on 4hr you will be checking every 4hr to see the progress. we expect to have 3-8 HA candle

Note: Market session is important. We are entering into Asian market with AUD as base currency. This can move the market

Just watch PA reaction at 0.7000

It will take me less than 2 minutes to decide if I am to trade this pair which I don't trade anyway.

Big E trades 1hr during NY session only and 4hr from 10pm pacific time (match it with your time)
