Long @ 2990, swing 'til next week.

Will most likely open a long at 1.2885-90, it looks like it has potential.

Possible final test of the support trend line. May see good buy up momentum at this current level or within 20-30 pips below.

1.3150 has been tested last week, this move is expected to complete the move towards June's high.

Do you agree ???

just got filled long @1.2894 SL 1.2884.. target 1.31740 (optimistic..lol)

I´ve opened long position usdcad. I hope it above 1.3051. My TP 1.3207.

Currently consolidating at 1.2900 support level on the hourly chart. No major moves until economic news in 3 hrs. Buying at close above 1.2940. Expecting retracement towards 1.3000.

Bounced up from CAD CPI data, long actually got a chance. If we finish green on the daily candle today. We might test 1.298xx.

overall, looking at daily chart I am currently bearish and am looking for opportunities to short

on the 4hr chart ive marked places of interest (zones) where I would keep an eye on for potential short. current bounce came from a nice supply/demand zone - there was price divergence from the dpo indicator and also the obv which to me indicated that selling was being absorbed there.

will wait and watch for now... good luck all :-)

Short why? Not yet, maybe after funds rate on Thursday see what they do next after that. Last week it rebounded after CAD CPI. Now it's only a few pips away from 1.298xx.

hey mate hows it going, so re the CPI comment, fair play and you may be right but I only trade using TA (according to my rules which are sometimes right and sometimes not so much lol). anyway just wanted to clarify that I wasn't saying go short immediately however I did say I was looking for short setups and basically im watching these zones above for signs that price will reverse to downside from them.. I got my bearish view initially from the Daily chart that shows an up TL has been broken to downside and price below cloud (just something I use in my TA and I quite like it without all the other bits that come with it) and PA making LL's... so on the back of that im keeping an eye on these zones I've prev marked then going down to 4hr or 1hr charts to fine tune a potential entry...

Supply between 1.2950 and 1.2955. need price to break that level to move my stop loss to break even.

Seeing signs that the pair may want another quick test of 1.29 before it gets a sustainable buy up. Some number below still to fill.

Well missed my target by a few pips. But how about this for later. If FED said rate hike .25% but it signals this is the last rate hike. USD might get screwed hah hah. Better to wait than sorry if thinking of holding USD for a couple of days. Unless you have the crystal ball.

Still holding short (2018.09.07). I dont think the CAD will stop slowly increasing. There is no strong bullish movement from the USD against the CAD. I keep my target 1.24 and be patience, the FED could move this pair but its more related to oil and the NAFTA deal —> if it doesnt come to a deal the CAD could lose 4/7% against others. SL is set at 1.3045.
