The USD index stuck around the 94.50 level. This kept trade in EUR/USD uneventful and struggled for direction.

Option expiries of note for today's 15:00 BST:
EUR/USD: 1.1600 (1.2 BLN), 1.1625-35 (1.0 BLN), 1.1650-60 (0.536 BLN), 1.1670-80 (1.0 BLN) and 1.1730-40 (1.0 BLN).

Seems like EUR/USD remains stuck in a trading range for the 5th day in the row. The previous trading range lasted 8 days.

Waiting for a long set up around the 1.1682 lvl.... atm looks like the trains has already left... maybe... if it has, still has to put the 1.1700 behind it.

This market action is not good for the way i trade. However i have to weather this storm and hope for it to break where i should claw some of my losses back (famous last words).

Currently -80 pips for the week at the moment - long from 688, TP open.

Will it break this time........

I feel you are right....today the move started before LO...

Prices are encapsulated in a ascending triangle........maybe going long around the uptrendline.....around here I feel short.....maybe not today....GU is kicking butts but now at a channel line which can mean overbought or at least a stall.....went long GJ before.....all good.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a dirty move from euro to break the 1.1733 and then fall hard all the way back to 1.1500

to hunt all the guys who went long after breaking the high hehehe
