Hello guys, I uploaded mrdfx setup file. Do I need also to run the Template? What settings do I have to put in to CCFp diff indicator?
Last question. I so on one of Pippopotamus screenshots that he is using a data feed indicator for the news. Any Idea were to find it?

Wow that is confusing. According to the globals you are GMT -7. Your local clock is also showing that it is 7 hours behind the GMT clock (local 09:21,
GMT display 16:21). Did you say you were a different GMT shift?

At the least it looks like the EA is recording the correct GMT offsets for both your local clock and broker.

I don't see where the issue is. I am not understanding. Yes, you said that the basket closed on the same day. I thought that it might that the EA was using the Daily mode in which case it closes at the end of the GMT day (or whatever hour u set), but you have that set to "-" which means ignore.

Then I realized that you were using the Weekly mode, in which cases the GMT daily close hour is ignored and the Friday Close hour is used. You have that set to 16:00. Your trades on that first image where closed at 15:53 which is not 16:00 and it was not Friday.

In both cases I see that you hit TP 5.5%. Since you hit profit and you are trading weekly then that's it. No more trading till next week.

All things look ok.
The GMT offsets are ok.
You are trading weekly, so either the basket closed at the TP you set (5.5%) or it will close on Friday at 1600 GMT.
In both images the display is showing you hit TP 5.5%.

Hello xmess7. I am using the MDRFX settings in daily mode. The basket open each day at 9 gmt. For the indicator I am using the ccfp with 10080. Do you advice me to change something else? Thank you

depends on what you want to achieve with this system.

you can use it daily, MRDFX's settings is set to run on Monday & Wednesday only (using the indi of your choice - CMSM or ccfp).

A timing query here.

I see that both Mrdfx and xmess, you guys open your basket at 9 am GMT - here in the UK that is 10 am during the summer period (BST). London open during this period is at 8 am BST = 7 am GMT. So per your settings the basket is opening 2 hours after London Open.

Is that the intention?

Hi West Village,

I just use MRDFX's set file with the 41.2 EA, using grandaevus CurrencyMomentum Strength Meter 17.01. I use a percentage instead of pips, monday/wednesday, 0.04/500 Lots per balance.

Monday was profitable, today not. I don't have enough of my own historical data to comment on its profitability really.

Thanks for your answer. I was only asking as the OP said to open at London Open. So I'm just curious why it's now 2 hours after London Open, is that a preferred time? I don't know.

I understand GMT is GMT, but London Open is not London Open, is not London Open (ie not fixed to GMT)

If you're referring to what the OP said on page 1 or in the early stages of this thread then that was over 1.5 years ago. Times have changed and strategies have evolved. We are over 700 pages into this thread. Just use the GMT that Mrdfx and Jess have suggested. That is why I said GMT is GMT is GMT. I've seen way too many people on this thread in the last few weeks all asking the same questions about when to start, what presets to use, what pairs are best (which is irrelevant and would know if they read the thread). Soon when the Vanilla version is released you guys will have to start doing your own leg work and there will be no more "silver platter" service. I suggest reading the thread, almost every question you can think of has been asked and answered.

Sorry, wasn't trying to come across that way either, but if people just read the thread you would answer your own questions most of the time. Mrdfx just went over why he uses 2 hrs after London just recently. So even if you skipped the first 690 pages you would have still gotten your answer to your question.

SL hit today ouch.. -10%

It still stings even though we haven't had a loss in a long time.

Overall though looking back the last time I had a losing basket was back in July so that's not bad at all really.

Now its SOH and wait for Monday again.

Why did you decide to trade it only on Monday and Wednesday?
