The USD/JPY pair fell from the highs on the risk-off mood. Currently the price is hovering around 111.00 and on the four hour time frame is struggling with the flat 200-day SMA. Technical indicators on the same chart have turned south and stochastic is showing stong bearish momentum and is nearing extreme negative territory. Overall, the risk is skewed to the downside and a steeper decline will be clear on a downward acceleration through 110.90.

I hope it has a retrace during Asian so I can short the London session lol. Practically a bearish engulfing daily. The UJ started tanking just before the EU so I shorted EU not wanting to be late. Nice profit this am but not nearly as much then if I'd shorted UJ. Those lower highs yesterday were a big warning. Yeah it could've broken up, but he'll no as it happens. The EJ looks spectacular, I haven't traded it dont know how expensive it is but I will look at it too later. I can't trade for the next 10 hours, life commitments and all

I'm a tad early I think, watching close. Volume has disappeared.. warning warning...
NB TP on the lower trade ( about$5), not enough comfort so close to TL. other trade now BE, might swamp it but this low vol indecision is risky

Yes that's an excellent visual you've shared. I do want to work on my patience, and holding trades longer, maybe I should leave it and go have my Friday night chardy, with a TP of 110.000 ish, and just see what happens. Ive added an EJ short too as it's broken similar support on H1

I can't see one, unless you mean on the hourly, where it is vague. I'd much rather you looked at this sort of thing. However, on Eur/Jpy it is a very bearish pattern, similar to Usd/Jpy, and since the Euro is falling against the dollar just now, may be a safer bet.

USD/JPY feel today to its lowest levels this week but is trying to recover towards the 111.00 handle. Technically speaking the short-term outlook remains bearis. On the four hour time frame the price is developing below its 100-day SMA for the first time this week, RSI and stochastic extend their slumps within negative territory with almost vertical slopes, indicating that selling interest remains strong.
