Hey my friend, with what I'm seeing on your chart, I think you may be mixing order flows. To me it seems that you're trying to trade the yellow and also trading a bit of the red as well. In your first trade it looked like you were getting in on the intraday order flow right where price was having weakness on the immediate, which would have a deeper correction. I personally wouldn't have considered the darker line a NSH but rather a retest of structure followed by some weak correction and then continuation. I do hope this helps.

EDIT: although I wouldn't necessarily argue that price is having extreme weakness on the buying side due to the 0/3 in the order flow right now.

Thank you for your insights. However if you look deeper you see that I was clearly trading the red order flow which is the immediate one.
I considered the first red peak as a NSH while someone else coud just consider it as a retest. That's why I got long.

Great Day at Eurusd

each line was swing I traded , main swing trade was a mistake TP before reach 127.20 , I overlook smaller swing fib. as main swing.

Price hit cyan area and bulls are trying to defend. But they do not seem convincing.

Took 2 trades today. Total P/L = -13. Both charts are attached.
First trade was a long at the 61.8. Got taken out at B/E.
Second trade was a short at the 61.8. Got stopped out.

In my opinion you traded the wrong swing in the second trade. Stop should have gone above 25785.

At 16:30 someone might have mixed up orderflows today.
Where the 17:00 downswing was a very nice correction from the previous upswing to go long, someone might have seen it as an expectation failure from the more immediate order flow and went short. Both are correct, but it was easy to get confused at that point. Mid-term expectation was and still is for a NSH. Until 25708 is broken. (Even though we are clearly ranging for the last couple hours.)

You can choose whatever swing and timeframe/ticksize you want. Just be consistent. Don't switch back and forth and be careful not to get confused. It can happen very fast

That depends on if you consider the white line in the 2nd picture to be a correction or not. To me, this was a correction.

If you did not consider this to be a correction then your S/L should be above 25790 in my opinion like in the 1st picture.

Hopefully a few questions you can answer in the live stream if you have time:

Q1:
I do understand that order flow can be assessed and traded in any type of market. Have you noticed differences in market movement in other markets?
For example:
NQ: I've noticed that the swings in this market are quite larger and that these larger swings are better to trade. The smaller swings generally lead to more failures(and larger costs).
Is there anything you have noticed about the ES? It moves quite fast on the 233 so I'd prefer to trade this on a larger TF.

Q2:
Last year the YM flowed quite nicely with an upward trend. This year we have had quite a bit of range bound movement. How has this affected your profitability?

Q3:
How many intraday trades do you manage to put in per month on the YM? Does the low volume(if this is the case) result in you seeking opportunities in multiple markets?

Q4:
An unprofitable week is possible, have you ever had an unprofitable month? How has this affected you emotionally?

Today happened a movement that creates alot of doubts, and there are alot of posts in the thread about it ( When it seems it reverses and changes direction, and expectation is on the other side )

I missed part of Damian's session and took the long much earlier than he did. I look forward to rewinding the session to see why Damian didn't take the long in the area that I did. Price retraced much farther than I expected and so I trailed decision candles back into BE, and then stayed at BE until we reached the 1:1.
+33 for me.
