USD/JPY is developing around its moving averages on the H4, but yet is unable to surpass them. RSI and stochastic are turning to north and bulls might conquer soon the 111.00 level.

It truly was a disappointment, glad I TP early, unhappy I then spent hours and hours waiting for more. I had a few more longs I finally closed in disgust. I'm definitely overtrading in this range bound market atm, going to try and pick some clearer big vol moves rather than this drifting.

Wrong symbol if you are looking for big moves.

There are far better movers in other USDollar or Yen pairs.

111 breakout failure

I tried trading the AUS/USD but it didn't speak to me. Came back to UJ and saw doji and reversal on 15min chart and plunged. I hope it dies hard, yes I know I shouldn't be emotional with a chart, but I am. I hope it dies to 109 with no retracements.

The most important points for me today.
1- I have placed 4 trades, 3 I have TP, 1 I am risking a SL of less than my profit for the day, so I am guaranteed a profit
2- I'm very happy with point 1, best friday trading for me for ages
3- I entered a trade that looked obvious with big volume and direction, yet I didn't risk a ridiculous amount. I have to be happy with that
4- I am not going to trade anymore today, as overtrading and late entries screw me very hard.
5- I do sincerely hope it settles below 110.900

1 minute chart with Gann fan 8x1 resistance (red). Then after drop started 1x1 support (blue) couldn't hold, became resistance and it was "off to the races".

But what's wrong in taking profits in a predictable range?

But honestly I won't trade it anymore until it breaks it, it's getting narrower.

I won 3 out of 4 entries.

A very significant breakdown in a symmetrical triangle pattern.
USDJPY crossed first support at 110.704 and just crosses second support at 110.567. Further mounting pressure will force the pair to fall till level of 110.140 after failure to sustain above third support level 110.372. A solid breakdown of pattern will make the pair to attain level of 109.780 after crossing fifth support at 109.996

Maybe after it is underway. Nothing tells you in advance it will be range bound before it becomes.
