Good-day All, I choose to stop trading with stoploss. I now trade without stoploss. What do you think about trading without stoploss? and if you are currently trading this way or you have traded this way before, kindly share your expirience.
Ignored

There is always a stop loss, even if that is the size of your account.
I live entirely from the growth of my personal trading account

In order to my trading experience I think trading without stop loss as like condition , a ship an ocean without a rudder. I think its enough to understand how much needed stop loss to use when trading practically.

If your trading strategy allows it, then you can use this risky process otherwise not! Basically, trading without stop loss trading tool means you are taking 100% risk reward ratio in every single trade position instead of 4-5%! Thats the real scenario of your wrong process! By the way, I am very much sincere on SL and TP issue in my live trading account, because I believe SL is the best tool of my account security!

Recently, I have been trying to trade with and without stop loss (on demo), as I wanted to test how things work. I figured out that with having SL, I avoided extra losses especially when there was any event and the outcome took things against me quickly, so with SL, it was cut short. But on account where I didnt use stop loss, I always found myself losing extra. Although, I did manage to see some loss turning into profits eventually, but definitely SL is needed.

You can't rade without stop loss unless you have unlimited funds. In our case MC is the SL

there's nothing magical... if you risk 10 to gain 1 = more profits and less losses BUT those few losses will cost you a huge DD.

There is no doubt that stop loss is the most effective way to reduce the risk of trade. With the use of stop loss if the market goes against the estimates, a forex traders financial loss will be limited. It is a matter that you can trade without using stop loss but you are heading towards your destination very quickly still there will be plenty of chances of falling in the middle.

As a retail trader IF you dont use a stop loss you obviously have no idea / no faith in the trade.

no stop loss = no calculation of risk.

no stop loss why?? because you dont know when the trade is wrong or where demand/supply is .

its all about fibonaccis and binger bands

No stop loss does not control the risk and will most likely result in a margin call or worse.

Generally the problem is not about using stop loss. it is about not knowing how to use it.

i use stop loss as a guide to enter or discard a trade (towards my trend trades only):

step 1 -
when a potential set up is on the horizon the first thing i look for is the area of value where my stop loss will be set
(if the stop loss limit is acceptable as per my trade plan i go to step 2 or else i discard the trade)

step 2 -
the area of value where my first escape route will be must be greater than my stop loss. if not i discard the trade
(this will also be the area which will hold my amended stop loss if trade moves in my favor)

to me a stop loss trigger is a confirmation that the reason i took the trade is over and i accept my loss with dignity off-late , minus the drama i used to earlier

yes, a stop loss (more so from a stop loss hunter) does damage the trade and cause loss at times but getting hit is any day better than getting knocked out cold.
